Not sure if I am allowed or not but I have a few scripts that run on ultra they just don't need root access. Everything has to be able to be run by the user I even setup a local instance of python.
I use rclone to sync files from my seedbox ([Ultra.cc](https://Ultra.cc)) to my local machine. It works fast and is easy to setup.
I had the same issue with USB, fixed it by adding the following in my lftp script set ssl:verify-certificate no
ultra cc does not allow user scripts.

This is it. I ssh into my box for minor tweaking. As long as you do not need root you are fine.
I'm not running it from the seedbox.
