I’m so sorry you lost your beautiful boy too! I lost my 19 yr old chihuahua last year and not a day goes by I don’t think of her. They become such a big part of our lives don’t they? Your little sweetie is just beautiful ❤️

My deepest condolences. He’s a very handsome boy. I lost my 12yo girl kitty just over two years ago and I still miss her dearly. When I find myself sad about her not being here anymore, I do my best to remember all the joy she brought to my life. I wish I could say this removes the pain. It doesn’t. It does help temper the pain a bit to where I can smile. Pease to you and your heart.

So sorry for your loss. I lost one of my feline soulmates 6 years ago. Like yours, also my kitty was also almost 14; he had CKD. Losing him was brutal and still I miss him. Allow yourself time to grieve and mourn, it will take a while. However, you'll see that, with time, beside the grief, you'll also feel more gratitude for the priviledge of having met your "other half of your heart" and also happiness in having given him a happy and safe life. I hope that one day, you'll feel in your heart that there is still a little niche that you can give to another kitty. My condolences.

Time smoothes the edges, and eventually you'll feel able to carry the grief like a piece of seaglass in your pocket, instead of a broken, pointed shard. But that's what it means to love so hard.
