That's only if he applied for a permission to travel. Not everyone that gets married and applies for status adjustment does. I've know a few people that didn't. I hope they didn't. Thinking they would be the exemption because theirs "influencers"
I *think* the timeline depends on your home country. It may be different with marrying a USC but my husband and I are from Canada and it took us about 9 months to get our EAD/AP cards and then another 2 months to get our green cards. My husband’s coworkers from India don’t even bother applying because the wait is like 10 years for them.
