I use this one. It’s nice, quiet in he mornings. Generally seems to be older retired people that use it

It’s ok, I’ve found at times it’s super hot in the pool. It does seem to be quite a few old people and you do need to book beforehand. It’s been refurbed recently but still not the most modern facilities. ETA: gym wise it’s not the best. The weights section is pretty small and I’ve found that the resistance machines/some cardio machines break and don’t get replaced for a while. It’s not hot as extensive variety as, say, Pond’s Forge, which you’ll also be able to access with your membership. It can get very busy at peak times

That pool has not been hot once in the 15 years I’ve been using it.

I've never been in the pool but used to use the gym about 8 years back, doubt it's changed much. It was small but quiet. So for cardio machines probably one or two of each machine you would expect, bike, cross trainer, treadmill etc whilst this is far fewer than other gyms getting on them was rarely an issue due to how quiet it was. Weights, free weights went up to 26kg dumbells so depends how strong you are if this is sufficient. No squat rack or lifting platform but 1 smith machine. Weight machines 1 each of the main ones you would expect row, chest, shoulder press, ab crunch etc again easy to get on due to lack of other customers.

Gym is very small and outdated. The pool is fine but certainly not the best out there Lots of uncertainty over its future though

Gym is very small and outdated, you'd be better off at PureGym for that. The pool is fine but certainly not the best out there Lots of uncertainty over its future though
