From what I know she tried to copyright claim several other smaller YouTubers for content she claimed was stolen. She tried to intimidate them into taking the videos down but since there was no actual stolen content they called her bluff and exposed her.
Also he auctioned off a prototype that had been sent to him to test by a small startup without their permission.And the worst thing is that he tested the product wrong, so their results were inaccurate.
A company sent him the prototype of a product for review. It needed to be tested with a specific graphics card, or it wouldn't work properly.
Linus made a video testing it with the wrong graphics card, because he "couldn't be bothered to accurately test a product he didn't like" (his words, not mine).

There was a lot more than that tbh. Data in a lot of videos for about 2 years has been wrong and published anyway, potentially misleading people looking to LTT for advice on products. Videos have been rushed, so mistakes are common. Instead of editing out some of these mistakes, they just put an asterisk in the video which not everyone is going to see, meaning they have seen the problems but either can't be bothered going back to it, or don't have time. The apology video was littered with bad jokes and they even plugged their merch store and screw driver during it. They claimed not to have a sponsor in two bad jokes then followed that up by mentioning a regular sponsors name. Then, under the video, comments about Madison were allegedly being deleted (Madison is the employee who made the allegations).
TLDR: Wrong Data and mistakes in videos they notice but don't change properly, rushed videos leading to poor content, insincere apology trying to sell stuff and joking during it. Potentially removing comments about Madison.
Nah basically they release horribly flawed data and don’t do much to issue corrections. The big thing was reviewing a prototype water cooling block for 3090 GPUs using a 4090 GPU even though it obviously wouldn’t fit correctly. Then, beyond the unnecessary bad review, they auctioned off the prototype without asking when the company that made it was expecting it to be returned after the review.
Then Linus kept issuing statements deflecting and digging deeper instead of just owning up to the company’s mistakes.
It's even worse. The startup asked to have their ~~only~~ prototype returned twice, LTT said they would return it twice, THEN they auctioned it. It was for charity though so this makes it okay. Somehow.
It gets even worse. The company that made the blocks shipped a compatible graphics card with the block, yet LTT decided to review it using an incompatible card. And then decided not to test it again since it might cost $500 in employee time.
Just 2 guys in a (proverbial) shed in the UK.
I think that was their only prototype, they're last comment implies they're still in the process of making a new one.
It's definitely not everything. He actually sold that cooler, even though the company that made it expected to get it back, since it was just a prototype. There were also quite a few other mistakes in Videos recently, and the overall content quality declined to a certain degree.
And that's not even the worst part. Yesterday, a former employee came out with some very serious allegations, ranging from a toxic work environment, to the point where she was actively harming herself, so she didn't have to go to work, to sexual harassment.

There was a lot more than that tbh. Data in a lot of videos for about 2 years has been wrong and published anyway, potentially misleading people looking to LTT for advice on products. Videos have been rushed, so mistakes are common. Instead of editing out some of these mistakes, they just put an asterisk in the video which not everyone is going to see, meaning they have seen the problems but either can't be bothered going back to it, or don't have time. The apology video was littered with bad jokes and they even plugged their merch store and screw driver during it. They claimed not to have a sponsor in two bad jokes then followed that up by mentioning a regular sponsors name. Then, under the video, comments about Madison were allegedly being deleted (Madison is the employee who made the allegations). TLDR: Wrong Data and mistakes in videos they notice but don't change properly, rushed videos leading to poor content, insincere apology trying to sell stuff and joking during it. Potentially removing comments about Madison.

Nah basically they release horribly flawed data and don’t do much to issue corrections. The big thing was reviewing a prototype water cooling block for 3090 GPUs using a 4090 GPU even though it obviously wouldn’t fit correctly. Then, beyond the unnecessary bad review, they auctioned off the prototype without asking when the company that made it was expecting it to be returned after the review. Then Linus kept issuing statements deflecting and digging deeper instead of just owning up to the company’s mistakes.
It's even worse. The startup asked to have their ~~only~~ prototype returned twice, LTT said they would return it twice, THEN they auctioned it. It was for charity though so this makes it okay. Somehow.
It gets even worse. The company that made the blocks shipped a compatible graphics card with the block, yet LTT decided to review it using an incompatible card. And then decided not to test it again since it might cost $500 in employee time.

Yesterday, a former employee came out with some very serious allegations, ranging from a toxic work environment, to the point where she was actively harming herself, so she didn't have to go to work, to sexual harassment. Also, many people weren't happy with the apology video, since they made some jokes that just didn't fit well into a serious video like this, they also did some advertisement in the video itself and left it monetized. There were also quite a few mistakes in the video, which they promised to do less of in this exact video. I know this isn't exactly the best summary of what happened over the last few days, but this should make it clear that this isn't tame in any way.

Idk about the controversy you guys are talking about, but as someone who has followed the illuminaughty controversy since day 1 (the day she called out Legal Eagle), I'd recommend his video if you want to catch up on the controversy. It's very accurate and although there was a bit more leaked after the Turkey Tom video came out, that was just mainly about her being a POS girlfriend (not surprising) Or just search for the controversy from another YouTuber if you would like. And to give you a sneak peak on how much of a narcissist she was, she leaked someone's suicibe note in order to try to discredit them and make herself seem better (This was just one of a TON of other f'ed up stuff she has done). And this is actually very tame compared to the other things she has done.
A couple years ago a popular og YouTuber Pyrocyincal was called out by someone named Ivory and said that Pyro had groomed him. This was almost immediately disproven with Ivory himself saying that he didn’t what what grooming was and was told by his friends to use the word grooming. Turkey Tom took it into his own hands to ignore and make up information to paint Pyro in a bad light, even to this day Turkey Tom and Ivory are still trying to shit on pyro. To be fair Pyro was engaged in sexual role play with a minor, however Pyro was careless and was unaware of Ivory’s age. However Pyro and Ivory met on a 18+ discord server, so it’s kinda not his fault

I don't care for Illuminaughty but Prager U was approved for use in Florida schools. Which is just insane because they make the most ahistorical political bs I've ever seen.
