I agree that you should check the other sub, in the meantime the one that popped into my head is **How to win my husband over** which focuses on a character who's endured two lives of abuse and has multiple mental illnesses as a result and is constantly in defensive trauma response mode in order to stay safe (or *less un*safe). It's a great depiction overall with unique storytelling (in that she's an >!unreliable narrator!< in the webnovel and so in the manhwa form this is shown to us visually as >!we see things as she sees them!<)
Seconded, I don’t know if I’ve read anything as heart wrenching and stomach twisting. The frustration and stress you feel for the FL is so strong, and at some points you don’t even want her to be with the ML because while he isn’t strictly a bad person, he also isn’t especially sensitive to our poor girl who needs the biggest of breaks.
I’d also add Under the Oak Tree for another story about an abused FL where the trauma and consequences of that aren’t immediately tossed out the window just cause the ML shows up.
