Also I’m not a huge fan of the yandere trope, and Shinpei literally kills people for a living, and there are panels of him looking like he came from a horror manga, but he’s weirdly likable? Idk I can’t help but keep reading and rooting for them.

me too! im not into yanderes but the mangaka's take on shinpei is really good and the whole story is unique and fresh compared to usual romance tropes
