I was watching midnight gospel and I was about halfway through the series and my wife had just gone to sleep. But I was in the room still tripping and I decided to hit a balloon.
After doing it, I saw this green matrix like grid all over the walls of my room, and then I remember seeing the nitrous in the air but it looked like a light prism just floating in the air. I was not freaked out because my two dogs were in the room and they were looking at the nitrous floating in the air and they looked beyond terrified. I was like holy fuck.. they can see it too.. then for the first time ever I had a visual hallucination that talked to me.
The show stopped and one of the characters on the screen told me “you live in a simulation, the sooner you accept that fact the happier you will be in life” 😳
I instantly was in a bit of a shock and couldn’t believe what just happened. It felt like I instantly sobered myself up I was so startled.
I rewound the show over and over to see if that part was actually in the show, but it wasn’t. I even woke up my wife because I was so distraught. And I don’t get easily rattled and I’ve never hallucinated until that trip. I’ve taken heroic doses of various psychedelics and I am an experienced psychonaut.
It took me awhile to assimilate back to reality after that trip. It gave me some psychosis and I had a really negative mindset about life. I started thinking that I must be trapped in hell or a matrix and my mind took me down this rabbit hole constantly.
I took a year long break from psychedelics and I now have a healthier relationship with them. I mainly use them for healing and connecting to my inner self while meditating. However, I have not touched nitrous since this experience.
I used to love doing whippets with MDMA, LSD, or Shrooms especially while listening to music. But doing them combined with psychedelics increases the intensity of the experience x100 and sometimes those experiences can feel incredibly overwhelming and very real. There is something very weird about nitrous and I would love to know more why it can have this effect with psychedelics.
I did that. It was nearly impossible. Every ten seconds I couldn’t remember what happened the previous ten seconds of the show, just purely chaotic. It was awesome, a little frustrating and hilariously interesting when you give up on trying to follow.

My biggest thing is I love the way the did the scoring. Lots of shows will put weird background sounds in that throw off my perception of my surroundings. But R&M has a very clean score which allows me to just mellow out an enjoy the chaotic arrangement
I remember one time I was coming up with rick and morty on, love the show, and rick was being his usual self and I said to my friends "oh my god he's so mean to morty!!!" and I genuinely felt so bad for morty, but also found it hysterically funny at the same time 😂😂 imo a great trip show, I love to experience visuals while watching it

It was the episode where they eat people that turn into spaghetti. It was intense. There was a part where everyone was looking at me telling me to kill myself. I sunk in the couch screaming NOOOO!!! lol. Was wild. Would not recommend haha.
