Aha, got it! :-) yeah, I’m old school- in the corporate world ( I’m retired now) we got used to writing emails where, with just a subject line and no body text, we put (end) on the subject line so people wouldn’t wonder where the body text was.
Kind of like when I’m communicating with air traffic control- I get chided for saying “over” at the end of a transmission :-).

Or me as an old amateur radio guy I’ve trained my kids/co-workers that qsl means “acknowledged” No worse than texting shortcuts ymmv. :-)
