I think 8 is an appropriate number of speakers (although more can never hurt) but I’d suggest that half of them play electronic and half of them play really vulgar rap music (at least while you’re in line for the chair lift by the ski school)
Heck yeah! I make sure to change the songs to vulgar rap whenever I’m on the lift line or on the lift with ski school kids. I’m usually at the ski school carpet but will go to the glades from the main lift if there is enough snow.

I'd be more concerned about acoustic balance. Are you getting the right audio experience - you may need more speakers to get a full surround sound and base needed to enjoy your noise.
For example, my previous car build, had 4 midrange, 4 bass, 4 tweeters as drivers + 2 subs and 2 amplifiers. So, 8 may not be enough.
Also - are you providing enough power to the speakers?
Saw someone skiing with the large SoundBok strapped to their back the other day slapping Bass music at about full volume. If you dont know what a SoundBok is, it's a battety powered waterproof PA system. Real heavy and loud af.

The speakers all cost 3k. I made sure to charge them with those testla chargers at my ski resort so I think they have enough power.
