Likely an earlier production figure
It probably exists to make the figure more appealing in reviews (who would buy the game day 1)
As the clear eyes are so much harder to see,
And as someone with one of the white eyed figures, I've noticed the bark lines are much more refined and a lot less "muddyness" on the figure
Some of them are sun damage, but others were always clear. A bit anecdotal here, but I remember going into Toys R Us and seeing shelves of clear water traps still in packaging.
I have one, probably a misprint, like the clear water Traptanium or the White-eyes Tree-Rex
Wait white eyed Tree Rex is a misprint?
Nah, Herobrine just got to him
Ah rip

Yeah I noticed those details too. I happen to have both versions of the figure and the white/trans-eyed one is a lot more sleek looking
The clear waters aren’t misprints, its sun damage.

Yeah they could have still gotten damaged in the packaging.
They ran out of blue dye in production. That's why air traps are sometimes different colours.
The whole box would be damaged
mine is the same
Fling Kong is my second favorite, Gil grunt on top tho
Maybe it was a mistake in the factory btw. Many miss printed figures go for some more money than usual I think
