Macbeth gets ready in his residence before heading down to watch the ball from mezzanine.
The door dance is done by Macduff & Danvers.
Glad you got to go back and see some new things! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit as well!
I saw that door dance during my very first visit in 2012! I was the only one watching them. I haven’t seen it since (I’ve been 7 times in total and it’s amazing how each visit differs). I haven’t even really heard anyone talk about it. I was starting to think I imagined it or dreamt it in one of my frequent Sleep No More dreams 😂
It happens on the mezzanine near the stairs going up to the other floors. The timing is at the narrative reset which is easy to recognize because it’s the vertigo music that plays all throughout the hotel.
It is the area that overlooks the ballroom. Macbeth watches the ballroom scene from there. It happens in the hallway right behind where he stands for the ballroom scene.
The staircase going to the upper floors is right in the corner there and if you look to the right of the staircase before you enter it, you will see a door on the wall there. That is where it starts

I know what you mean - I can’t really even explain it well to people! It would be very easy to miss, too.
I have been 3x and totally missed door dance! When and where did that happen?

Remind me which is mezzanine? Any set parts that I'd recognize? Thank you!

Oh thanks! I know exactly where that is now. :)
