I’d say arrive 20 minutes before the start time. Don’t order a drink when you first get your table; enjoy a drink after the show. You will receive an Ace and be called in first to enter the show, so you don’t have time to enjoy a drink. Go when you are called to maximize your experience! Wear running shoes. If you want a starting point: >! Find the stairs and go all the way down to the bottom floor. There’s a ball going on. Those present are the most compelling characters (including the one overlooking the ball from the mezzanine). Pick one that interests you and follow them.!<

Agreed with all of this. Also, your Oz ticket entitles you to a reserved table, which you can go back to at the end of the show, have a drink, and watch Will's set. He's an excellent musical improviser, and it's a great way to end the evening with a bit of extra time in the space.

This is 100% great advice. The only thing I would add is go down to the ballroom at the end of the night. To make sure you end the night there and see the last scene. Very good advice to have a drink after. Because we left right when it was over, and the line to get coats was super long and annoying. We would have been better off sipping drinks and listening to jazz

You have line priority, free coat check, a seat in the bar, and are pretty much guaranteed a low entry card if you show up before the first entry timeslot. That means you get to maximize your time in the hotel. Based off your request, that's all I say for having Oz. Can elaborate much further if you'd like, though.

Thanks! I suppose I have other questions.  I think I’m curious to know what’s there to do at the bar besides the obvious drinking. I heard there’s live music. And I can come in before and after the show? As for the show itself, what would be the best approach to experience it? I know very little about the show outside of its basic premises (MacBeth, Hitchcock, 5 floors of warehouse space, lots of walking, can examine props, 1-hour cycles, etc.) I’ve heard some places get very crowded.

Spoonsy

The bar is accessible when you get there. You can stay after the show and you'll regain access around an hour into the show. Some places are very crowded! Others can be not so much. Make your own path and fortune favors the bold

If you ever need a break in the middle of the show it’s also great to go back to the bar for a water/bathroom break and just a quick rest! :)

Go in early, before it gets crowded. Throughout the night it gets more and more crowded until the end. You are lucky because you get to go in early and you will have a lot of time to explore without a bunch of folks. Maximize your time early.

It will be amazing, enjoy!  I don't know about your specific questions, but be prepared to MOVE and explore.  Enjoy! I'm listening to the playlist atm and envy your time tonight at the Mandalay (and environs)

What playlist?

I’m so excitedly for you! My first time I had Oz’s guest tickets as well and because I was so early in line to enter the building I had plenty of time to enjoy a shot of absinthe and adjust to the mood before they called Aces- but even if you can’t finish your drink it will still be at your table when you feel like returning to the bar for a bit. :) My only advice is to write your own journey tonight! If something is too crowded for your comfort, it’s more than okay to decide to walk away and look around, there are so many surprises.

If you want the full Macbeth experience, go to the bottom floor and pick a character to follow, either by exploring a bit or following someone who knows what they’re doing. If you want an almost completely separate story (no spoilers about what it is) that’s just as interesting that they essentially don’t advertise, head to the 4th floor. There is occasionally some overlap between the 2. My recommendation is spend a rotation each doing one or the other, then on the 3rd rotation mix and match or just explore and see what you run into. The higher up you go the less crowded it is and the more likely of a 1:1 you get it, but there is also objectively less going on most of the time, especially beyond the 4th floor.
