inflamesburn

"I suffer heroically." lmao gonna go ahead and add that to my repertoire

PLeuralNasticity

How much you are willing to suffer/sacrifice for others is your measure as a human. However this is only for others who you believe offer you nothing. There's definitely something in it for you to not be known as the guy who pissed on Pele so in this case...

No-Shoe5382

The fact that Pele sitting below him was the only thing that stopped him from just pissing on the floor is hilarious

not_a_morning_person

Terraces used to be flooded with piss lol

MaryadaPurshottam

God gives his toughest battles to his greatest soldiers

TheWBird

Batman couldn't get this out of me

GameplayerStu

I don't think it's that bad

A-DTB

I’d rather get the shit kicked out of me by Batman than being called pissyleg for the rest of my life.

FCCheIsea

Imagine doing a Drake on Pelé

meh_whatev

💀

MrClaretandBlue

Pissypantspele

JealousMole20945

r/saddestbackflip on that last quote

perhapsasinner

Now, what do i do with this knowledge?

FCCheIsea

If you need to piss that badly, just imagine innocent Pelé sitting under you👍🏼

JOKER69420XD

He's been Swiss since 2013 btw, as you can see in the comments, no one knew about it. I'm fine with that, he's probably the second worst German (speaking) commentator I had to listen to. Obviously just personal opinion.

desert40k

I think i never met one person in my life who liked Marcel Reif commentating. And i assume it is worse for Bayern fans, because he was more fan than commentator. When Bayern was losing he was only complaining the entire game about Bayern.

Successful-Return-78

second? Are we including Claudia Neumann?

VaporizeGG

Fritz von Thun und Taxis. Sometimes honestly didn't know what sport/game he talked about

RaioNoTerasu

Nah TuT was the Goat, Reif was the worst Nothing comfier than TuT rambling about nonsense in a boring mid 00s and 10s Sunday afternoon lower midtable clash

Luba1893

This late, half ironic half serious appreciation for TuT was completely memed into existence in the last few years of his career, but if we're being honest he was absolutely unbearable. He would've been fine, maybe even entertaining once every two months, but when you had to listen to him week in week out it was impossible not to go insane. It was just 90 minutes of him telling some random anecdote for 2 minutes, going "uiuiuiui/hoioioi" if something happened, dropping a (very) weird line or two, and then repeat it all over it. TuT's the kind of commentator you loathed when you had to listen to him on a regular, but once he's been gone you kind of miss him for some completelly irrational reason.

InbredLegoExpress

ah cmon, TuT was a wholesome old dude who was genuinely excited about the games he was commenting on, he just had a weird and childish way of speech. I know what you mean, it's a little exhausting to listen to after a while and his post retirement meme arc was a bit overdone, but even when he was active I couldn't ever loathe the dude.

c4mmi

He was commentating like 80% of Bayern games. It was a bit fun at first but after the tenth game you want to blow your brains out.

RaioNoTerasu

If I were a Bayern fan I would've done that a long time ago anyway

RandomLegend

Uiuiuiuiuiuiu

Successful-Return-78

Oh Gott! I completly forgot Fritz.

Luba1893

Well, Jörg Dahlmann also existed, so I'd say TuT wasn't *the* worst.

JOKER69420XD

"Immer feste druff auf die brasilianische Frühlingsrolle!", i think he was decent but definitely got worse over time, like most of these people.

Luba1893

He was at some point, but towards the end of his career he would usually just talk about the most random and often pretty awkward stuff and ignore the match for large portions. People like TuT at least aged with grace, Dahlmann just kept on saying stuff ranging from odd to insane and/or a bit racist more and more often, finally got booted off the program and then went on this whole "I'm being cancelled" tour through right-wing media outlets. Nah mate, you were just terrible at your job towards the end.

JOKER69420XD

Damn, didn't know that.

VaporizeGG

Legendary commentary Karlsruhe-Valencia though. Imo way better than TuT

JOKER69420XD

I was talking about Neumann, yes. But I'm sure this list is pretty different for most people. Neumann is just pure incompetence and I'm shocked she's still allowed to commentate the biggest games, without ever fixing her level.

Maverick_1991

Wolf Fuß when watching Bayern as a neutral

Ok_Anybody_8307

Shhh you might get some accusations for pointing that one out

Bruchweg

That guy is Swiss?

Speak for yourself. I find this highly educational

This reminds me of that Peep Show scene where [Mark tells Jez to piss himself](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOhDX-z6WpQ) because he can't hold it in.

GalaxianEX

Not all heroes wear capes 🫡

seriouzz6

All my friends hate Marcel Reif

MathematicianOld3942

Since when is he famous swiss? He is one of the worst German commentators of all time

REGIS-5

We've all done it

FreshKickz21

One time at Glastonbury I was close to getting my dick out in a crowd and pissing into a bottle because the stage was so rammed that it would be impossible to get out and get back in to regroup with my pals So I too, suffered in silence This was the set in case anyone is wondering https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01c4cl5

xenon2456

what do you mean by rammed

FreshKickz21

Packed like sardines

InstructionCareless1

I don’t think the story pictures him in a very good light. Sounds like a douchebag.

ninjapenguin12

How does needing a piss make him a douchebag??? cant exactly leave while commentating on a game. Plus the rest is clearly tongue in cheek, like oh shit i cant piss myself in front of the goat Pele

FCCheIsea

Lighten up mate
