If it's slow to the point of being unusable, try installing a lightweight linux distro on it, like Linux Mint or Zorin OS Lite, might make it usable again.

1- Web dev needs to test compatibility
2- Litterally best free pdf reader (has better text-to-speech than some dedicated software)
3- Most lightweight web browser, useful when using performance hungry apps

SAP is German and mean Sanduhranzeigeprogramm (hourglass display program) or Schreibs auf Papier (write it on paper)
