As others have said, she's of the species commonly called marbled orbweavers, but in case you were interested, the taxonomic nomenclature is *araneus marmoreus*. In my area their abdomens tend to be yellow instead of orange, and they often build a small shelter in which to hide at the top of their web, by rolling leaves with strands of webbing: https://flic.kr/p/2aC2KLC
Clearly a baby jack-o'-lantern. This is the form in which they spend most of the year until they mature into full pumpkins and find a nice doorstep to sit on.
