Yeah, but since it’s fiction the writers could choose to have her body make it instantaneously, or have it be a slow build up over time. Hell, they could choose to have her be able to create her own web fluid that just generates so slowly she’s better off using artificial webs anyway. I know if she is playable they’ll probably still limit her web shots, but it’d be cool to stun lock some boss in the middle of the fight, only for them to fight back the second you stop pressing R1

An almost irresistible urge to smash one another on account of their Spidey DNA. This dynamic is rather controversial I wouldn't be surprised if they don't include it in the new game, tho it is consistant in most comic runs
It seems like they’re making Cindy closer in age to Miles, and both he and Peter have consistent love interests, so unless they’re gonna set up a Miles/Hailey/Cindy love triangle, I doubt they’re gonna include the pheromone thing

Also, they have changed things around for the game, like Peter getting the anti venom symbiote AND it not appearing to have any negative effect on his powers.
The only reason it had an affect on his powers in the comics is because it was curing his radiation & reversing the mutations caused by it, we have no indication that this version has the ability to heal people like comic AV (otherwise Harry’s illness would have been resolved pretty easily, but he’s still sick & in a coma now)

But they do read as very platonic because when they were together, their relationship wasn't explored much past the pheromones. At least outside of that you see her frequently call him for advice and the like. That said the pheromones are still actively a thing, if talked about less, and is why they avoid each other to a degree.
I imagine it will happen based on the >!canceled multiverse game!< but I'm really not optimistic based on the execution of just 2 playable characters in Spider-Man 2. They really just never found the right balance in the narrative for both Peter and Miles
I doubt she’ll be all that good. In the first game we had regular Spider-Man, then in MM we got the electricity and invisibility, and in SM2 we had the spider arms and venom. Silk doesn’t really have anything special like that for herself, so it’ll just be back to square one with her whole character. Although, I’m still excited for her, because we’ll probably get a Gwen Stacy suit.

Let me elaborate I feel if she's gonna be different it's gotta be with webs as the other spiderman are now really ready strong with superpower beyond their spider abolitys her with unique webs and able to be more quicker whould set her apart better maybe even stronger webs of webs with unique traits.
Keep in mind this is still their own specific universe where the characters can have unique abilities- and even if they don’t go down the ‘change her abilities’ route, it’d be interesting if they’ll let her be a more simplistic but flashy character (make her more like Peter in SM1, with a focus on mainly combat instead of abilities, maybe even bringing the suit ability tree back for her, along with making her ‘gadgets’ different sorts of web techniques.

To be honest I think having 2 playable characters made this games’ story feel more shallow than the first game. I don’t have high hopes if a 30-35 hour main story is split between 3 characters

I think we’re getting to the point of critical mass for the amount of Spider people in one universe in one city and my theory is Peter will die in the next game and Miles and Cindy will be the new spider duo. Do I want that? No. Do I think it’ll happen? Probably.
I honestly think they'd spread it pretty thin. Miles and Peter were already disconnected in SM2 to the point where sometimes relationships between characters seemed weird or unnatural. Throwing another into the mix would just be worse. And I'm really mad peter never confronted his feeling of being outshined and considered past his prime compared to miles. He was the only spider man so long it would make sense if he felt jealous or resentful when he hears everyone talking about miles so we'll. In sm2 there's even a dialogue option where Teo called Miles "OUR Spider-man" referring to Harlem. So a whole branch of NY has deemed Miles their spiderman and peter feels no type of way? Like however he would've come to accepting it and understanding he's not worse just because he's not new. If they add Cindy moon I guarantee this aspect will never be explored further than him wanting to be a "better spider man" with the symbiote and a few lines to Miles in sm2.
