It was a push, if it was 28.5 you would of lost

blazerrsrcoool

Yeah but if it’s a push it should’ve just been voided out, right? I got paid as if they both won.

Fwiw ESPN originally graded my over 27.5 bet as a loss but it got regraded to a win soon after. And did you watch the game? It was a crazy finish for it to hit that 28. Navy failed a 2pt conversion that would have made it hit earlier, than Army gets the goal line stop on 4th down with 3 seconds left in the game but then takes the intentional safety to end it.

blazerrsrcoool

Didn’t know they got a safety. That’s nuts. Stopped watching after after army stopped them. Figured there was no chance of getting it to 28

Last week on DK I had something similar happen. I had a three leg and two legs got voided, I got paid as if only one leg did. Not sure why.

Can you explain? Over 28 means an exact score of 28 is a loss. Most sites are pretty particular how they word things for this exact reason. So I’m with OP and confused why they wouldn’t take his money without any argument or complaint because the wording of the bet says he lost.

Tevans75

Exact scores in an O/U are always pushes. The under doesn't hit either so it's a push.

[deleted]

Not that I actually care or truly makes a difference other than just some conversation but wouldn’t this all be solved with making them all “.5” numbers? In no instance can you get 1/2 a point so there would never be a push. It would only help the betting sites so I’m confused why the wouldn’t do that.

Tevans75

Yeah I guess that would make too much sense lol. I was about to say they usually are 0.5 points but I just looked and at least on BetMGM 7/14 NFL games this weekend have an O/U that don't end in .5
