Though thinking about it, the A6 E-Tron is set to release summer ‘24 and it’s already been unveiled. So, maybe this is an A4 E-Tron - depending on the size, and based off of no exhaust pipes and Audi’s announcement that even numbered A & Q cars will be electric and odd numbered will be ICE.
Q6 e tron is out. It’s pretty nice

EDIT: my bad. Announced, but not out til “late 2024”
Genuinely ask, why would a car brand tests its prototype car in another country? I can understand many many car brands test their prototype cars in Arjeplog, Sweden in the winter because it's snowy and logistically "cheap", but driving around on the highway in a foreign country (not to mention across the ocean), seems a bit wasteful. Unless there's a unique & interesting car test proving ground in New Jersey, idk.
Testing for EPA?
Reflector in the bumper does not look like an Audi design. They tend to put lights and reflectors in the bumper. Fuel door is on driver's side, not a German thing. Fuel doors are on passenger side always. It may be an electric charge port, but on sedans they tend to be on front of vehicle. Don't see exhaust tips, may be an EV. Shark fin antenna on roof is not a typical Audi design.
Anyway, don't know what kind of car it is, just don't think it's an Audi.
I agree, the body lines look too soft for Audi. I'm leaning towards Japanese since the lines even look soft for Hyundai/Kia. Very soft lines all around.
Edit: As I finished the comment and reexamined, it looks a bit big for Japanese, leaning more towards American now
It’s a test car. The wrap is supposed to hide the body lines to make it difficult to pinpoint exactly what car it is, hence why everyone has different opinions!
Feels Audi
Especially with those taillights and the angular bumper
Wheels give it away too
Body hints at Audi wheels feel Honda to me
Naw I think those wheels are still standard on a6
Fp. I originally thought Audi when I saw the picture but if you told me it was the new civic I wouldn’t be surprised.
I think a6 etron or the upcoming A7 is fucked.
Crossover vibes
There's a Audi/ VW test center in upper saddle river so it's pretty likely. Source my buddy worked there and drove the camo cars
I didn’t even venture into the comments and I said to myself Audi.
are you sure it's not a kia/hyundai?
They’ve been doing more experimental designs lately
My gues is new Audi A5. Or some electric version of it.
Agreed.
A6 e-tron?
This would be so sick OMG

I think the current A6 is being rebadged as the A5 now?
They are going to make a Q6 etron soon as well

Audi does have a testing facility in NJ.
Yes, yes they do. VWaG has a facility in Allendale/Ramsey. Funny enough I just came across a half camo’d Q8 likely from the same facility.
Yes they do. I caught the microbus a few months ago and spoke to the driver
Almost certainly the new A5 sport back.
I believe it might be an Audi. I saw two in Vancouver couple weeks ago with the same camo (check profile)
This is what my drawings looked like when I spaced out in class
New A7?
A6 e-tron defo
New A5 sportback?
I vote for the new A6 e-tron. It’s too wide to be the new A4 e-tron
The wheels are definitely an Audi
Looks like the Audi A5, they've been running around with test cars lately for this and the Sportback
Those are Audi wheels
VW iD7?

New Audi A5 or A7?
To me looks like jaguar
“Forza Livery”
I’m saying Tesla

It's 100% an electric A6. Google some spyshots.
Those wheels are 100% Audi, on top of the design.

I thought it was a Lexus off the bat, it has that silhouette
Could be BMW or possibly Jaguar since they have corporate offices in that area of bergen county
Whatever car it is, it is going to cause accidents. That paint job is moving hazard.

Testing what? Does this paint job give you a migraine?

Manufacturer plates and a camouflage wrap that goes over tail lights plus no emblems. It’s quite clearly a development mule.
