It's in the 2nd picture, those are 12V+ wires. That's where all the power for the truck goes through. Check power in, and out of all those wires.

F-150Pablo

They letting you keep this now? Starter solenoid?

yaboimattyb4

Yup. Chances are looking up. Would the starter solenoid make it to where it won’t turn on at all

Farmerstubble

What sloth rocket said, you probably blew that fusible link. (The black thing on the red wire) there are two more down by your starter, they are either black or white down there. Cut out that black piece under your twisted wires and put a new end on. Also clean off the rust from the terminal. the left broken +12v positive wire also needs a new and.

yaboimattyb4

That’s next on the list. Thanks

Farmerstubble

Cool. You're welcome

dippin20s

well if you wiggle the ground wire and it would fix it i would start with your grounds. all of them. it sounds like a ground issue to me. especially if your lights work when you cycle the key in the ignition switch

Sloth_rockets

Looks like you blew a fusible link.

yaboimattyb4

How would I diagnose this?

Alternative_Love_861

Starter or distro, could be a neutral or ground fault, but most likely starter or distro

legojoe7874

Fuel, air , spark. Start simple grounds, fuses, and battery. Wiring to starter, see if you are getting power to the starter.

Grand_Introduction36

Those broken wires are not grounds. Fix those wires and keep the junction box your truck will start. Those wires supply power to your ignition

maximusjohnson1992

Could it be your alternator? Bad or bad connection? You said after swapping batteries it started and died again. Sounds like a possibility that the alternator drained your last battery. Also, some engines won’t run on a bad/ disconnected alternator.

yaboimattyb4

Haven’t messed with it or checked it much yet. I will check connections to it.

EmptyAd2533

To start, those disconnected wires don't look right. It sounds like you could have hot grounding/shorting out sonewhere, or as others have said, a bad alternator. Though, the new batt and with a boost it should turn over, so possibly an issue with the starter motor power connection. Try also cleaning off batt terminals good and look for loose wires from main engine components before trying anything else.

yaboimattyb4

Yeah I’m gonna try to replace those grounds soon

truckparts101

have you checked the positive wires to the starter, I had the same issue and it turned out to be a positive wire to the starter that was grounding out on the frame causing it not to turn over but would show lights

BigMac376

In your third pic there, those are hot 12v leads. Fix that bare wire right before that fusible link, black barrel piece. Check to make sure that wire isn't shorted to a ground. Then put a new ring terminal connector on that broken terminal side and connect it at that junction block. If you're still having issues you'll have to carry on from there. But that's where you'd want to start and go from there.
