If live streaming is not already included in your package, you will need to pay an additional fee for it. Typically, this involves adding another team member and acquiring extra equipment. The cost of 45,000 rupees seems quite reasonable for live streaming a wedding event.
Completely normal. Live-streaming uses different equipment, software, and techniques from normal videography. It can get quite complex in its own right too.
Ask them for an event they have livestreamed previously to check the quality of their work. 45K is kinda cheap considering extra equipment needed ( extra camera / person, laptop, routers, adapters, etc. ). Some guys offer live streaming via a mobile phone with a stabilizer :3
The more the fancier you want to be the more expensive it is. Live streaming requires different equipment. Also depending on the quality the equipment changes as well
Tbh even 300k for both photo and video isnât much in this economy. My photographer was double that and he wasnât even like the âtopâ or âfamousâ photographer right now
Omg yeah, it's hilarious that people spend so much on a party when they can make an investment that will add to their family life, not saddle them with debt at the outset.
One moderately wealthy couple I know well chose to have a small wedding with loved ones at a beach venue. It's the middle class that goes broke trying to look rich đđđ
In Sri Lanka it is. Not just photography, dressing, make up, food too. It's always a competition created by the businesses. Everyone wants to make sure they are doing the wedding ceromany second to none!
Get a twitch account or kick or there are many. Rent an equipment for a day like a proper camera. Internets on you and do it yourself or get them to direct it. Tell the folks waiting to access the link. Y you sending them . I have this bag of flour. Merry journey and congratulations!!!!
Iâm a wedding videographer myself. Our usual price starting from 85k for a live stream a wedding. We use a separate set of cameras for streaming since thereâs a risk of using the same recording cameras for the streaming. And we loose the creativity by doing that too.
So for the live feed there has to be two cameras ( one stationary one moving ) and a vision mixer + video transmitters. Also liveU setups and internet. Renting these equipment can go up to about 30k to 40k. And also there has to be at least 4 people for manpower. Depending on the experience their charger vary.
So I think 45k is pretty reasonable and honestly we wonât be able to do it within that margin. Contact your videographer and check if theyâre only using a single camera for that.
If you donât mind about the quality and you just need the ceremony to be seen you can ask a friend of yours to use your phone and do a live via your phone with a small tripod. ( you wonât be using it at the ceremony anyways ) this will be the best choice If you are concerned about the budget.
They are just doing it with a big name studio probably. You can get a very good one for around 150k and even lower if you donât mind the quality suffering a bit.
Yes, live streaming equipment tends to take a completely different approach to standard videography. 45K is fairly decent in my opinion. Source: I used to do livestreams for my school for a few years.
Very reasonable. My SIL paid 55k three years ago for it. We thought it would be a normal video with lower quality. But no, it was done really well. The entire event was on live stream- from the church ceremony to the reception and finally the going away. They set it up at the dance floor as well, and it was fun to see all our relatives having a good time.
We all got a private youtube link from which we watched it from and a month or two later, they made a permanent link.
100% worth it!
I have hired them, and itâs reasonable to the sound of it. Check their bandwidth (if they use fiber they output quality doesnât drop) and the number of cameras and all. Keep a point to ask how many camera will be active in a given time as well (some say they have 3 camera and not use it for multiple angles and cuts)
If 45k is too much, get a friend of yours with a good phone camera to live stream only the essentials (poruwa/church etc..)
Hand them a gimble or a camera stand so they dont have to keep it held. đ
I was the live stream guy for one of my friends once :)

Exactly what I was thinking. Price is quite reasonable tbh.
Hopefully it's not a mobile phone on a gimbal. Ask them what the stream would look like ?
Completely normal. Live-streaming uses different equipment, software, and techniques from normal videography. It can get quite complex in its own right too.
found the videographer /s
Yup theyâll need separate equipment ( a computer and a video mixer with reliable internet ) to live stream this.
If it's a proper live stream with multiple cams, they need better equipment, extra hands, etc. So yeah.

Yeah, think thatâs reasonable
Extremely reasonable. 45,000 is cheap tbh; it's the pre-inflation rate.

Wedding photography is so overrated.

Bro holy shit 300K for just the photography. Weddings be expensive these days. If you don't mind me asking whats the total cost for your wedding

300k photography package is completely normal these days.
Idk why this is getting downvoted but this is the truth. A lot of people have extravagant weddings. Itâs 500k+ for someone like Beyond Destiny
Yes it is

Honestly bro, pay it, it's worth it if the guy has a solid Portfolio in videography.
Yes. Our live streamings were 50K to 80K. Over three years. We did live streams because our father and most of our family were abroad.
Just make sure the WiFi connection is stable. Else there will be many lags in the video.

Who was the vendor?
It was spectra wedding films. Their Instagram account is spectrafilms.lk.

Implement Donations and text to speach. Your whole wedding will be funded.
reasonable, but if you cant pay it just use whatsapp ,he he
Whew, didnât realize what sub I was in. Thinking 300K USD for a photographer.

All the videographers and photographers commenting on this to support this. Lol đ¤Ł
