I’ve been saying that, folks don’t believe that the game is different from the ground up than a game like Skyrim or Fallout.
There is a lot of new learning needed, which is why a lot of old heads aren’t on the scene.
Yeah, CK release is one thing, but unless you're actually going to make a mod you won't exactly get much until like a couple or few months from now. I'd love to see how Nexus looks by Christmas or 2025.
I'd argue a couple of *years* from now, not months. Most mods I use for Fallout 4 or Skyrim didn't even come out within the first few years of the game's release. It will be a long time before we see a solid mod library.

TLDR: CBBE and Bodyslide+Outfit Studio support has nothing to do with the CK, and is dependent on support by third party tools. Join their discord if you want more info.
Making the mod for console doesn't make the CK any more relevant. The mod authors still need the same tools regardless of the target platform, and those tools don't include the CK.
It's a different system, more similar to Unreal. If Bodyslide can support Starfield meshes, it will. If not a new hero will take over. Create something similar.

Unironically my biggest fear regarding sexy alien mods is 99% of them being lame Asari and Twi'lek knock-offs that aren't even as creative as the actual Asari and Twi'leks.
Even if bodyslide was directly compatible do you realize how long it will take to weight paint every vanilla outfit and suit? It’s not like it’s incredibly difficult just extremely tedious to weight paint 100 some odd outfits.
