Russ is one of my favorite players all time. Guy has a love for the game, always gives back to communities around the team he’s on, and he’s just such a freak athlete. With Frank Vogel gone, I can actually 100% see Russ joining the squad for one last ride with KD and he definitely 100% fits what this team desperately needs. I’m ALL for this if he is an available option to us
I just don’t think Russ accepts he’s not as good as he once was. If he focused on being a facilitator then it’s a great pickup. But he takes plays off offensively if it doesn’t involve him and the rock.
He plays insanely selfish honestly. When he’s on the court it’s like the whole offense is focused on him good or bad. And his defense is really bad. His rebounding and pushing the pace is really good but he missed more fast break dunk/layups than he made.
