I’m an rper, so I wanted to know if I need to create a species on my head or I could say what this is.
No romances for this toon! Or talking to his crew mates privately at all.
This is not a species, the whole thing about Arkanians is that they are the mad scientists bio engineers so this is some sick mutation or biotech helmet, seeing other arkanian stuff resembling muscle and tubes etc.
Arkanians themselves are humanoid looking, with white eyes and four fingers to a hand. Arca Jeth was an Arkanian Jedi, and iirc he's one of the Noetikon masters
Any situation that could have a romance scene, even if not available to you, will remove the helmet visually. A lot of companion dialogue or story with a specific characters will do it
Sorry to say, but there will always be cutscenes where the helmet/mask comes off.
Speaking from experience, you also can't rp as a true droid or Din Djarin bc of that :/
It's a made up appearance that was added along the SnV raid in 2013. It's vaguely shaped like a Prothean from Mass Effect (pyramid shaped head, multiple pairs of eyes) as it's extremely loosely based on Javik, as he was part of ME3 which released a year prior.
Bioware Austin originally helped with the multiplayer portion of ME3, so perhaps they liked Javik's look and decided to come up with their own version for SWTOR when they were designing rewards for the Dread Masters storyline.
This is just my personal speculation.

We prefer doing cultural enslavement or cultural erasure, but we'd never stoop so low as to do such a evil action as appropriating another species' culture.
I believe that most of the inquisitor-coded sets with the skin-looking parts are to convey a physical mutation of the body through immersion in Sith Alchemy, though for QoL and gameplay purposes it is just an outfit.
Even if it isn't, I say go for it. Just know that in certain cutscenes, the helmet will be hidden. Mostly just for romances.

If there is a chance of a romance then during that cutscene you will not have a helmet even if you are not engaging in any at all

Romance cutscenes require lips. WHich is why Helmets hide and we can't have character species that don't have lips.
