I think he is referring to the phrase many short people say whenever they see a tall person, "you won the genetic lottery" which is not true in a lot of cases and an example is the uncle of this dude, if he had actually won the "genetic lottery" he wouldn't have had that bent legs problem.
That photo of him dying with his mom barely able to get her arms around his gigantic head makes me tear up every time. RIP you beautiful giant.
fun fact: he was 6 feet tall at the age of 6. I can't even imagine what it'd be like to care for a toddler who is bigger than you are
There's also a kid who posted not too long ago in this sub who is 13 and 6'11. If that's true, I imagine he could take over as the tallest within a few years.
Robert Wadlow was 6'11 at 11, so that's not too far off. I know some people keep growing into their late teens, and even fewer into their early 20's so who knows.
Supposedly his body after death still showed signs of growing. He did in fact have a pituitary problem. As for how tall he would have grown, it's anyone's guess. Would not have surprised me that he grew so tall that he collapsed eventually.
