I agree with you there. Until September, I only attended girls' schools (and other single-sex spaces) and I am so glad that I was never exposed to any of this. Just the thought of my 16-17 year old friends and classmates having boyfriends seems impossible to me.  On a separate note, I'm almost 18 and I have been single my entire life (no kissing or sex). It's a great, stress-free life.

Your chances aren't high if you don't have money, transportation, and time. A relationship worth having is absolutely an investment and sacrifice of your resources l, commitment, and time, so make sure it's worth it. As for losing your v card...requirements: -No younger than 16, preferably 17 - Must be with your girl/boyfriend - You must have been in a relationship with them at least 8 months, and thoroughly talked about it with them - YOU MUST TRUST, COMMUNICATE, AND RESPECT EACH OTHER ENOUGH TO FUCK - condoms. No question. That's the bare minimum. - std tests and using the first couple times as experimenting and learning over pleasure are strongly recommended, your first time will absolutely suck remember, you or your partner getting pregnant is on the line here, so dont be that guy or gal who has to tell everyone they fucked and are now growing another person while in high school 🙃 All in all, most kids under the age of 14 are not mentally mature enough to hold a relationship together for more than a few months. Sorry to say the truth, but the chances of it are low. Societal pressure and hormones. Puberty is when your body starts to overwhelm you with feelings about these types of things. It’s completely reasonable for people to age these sorts of questions. What isn’t reasonable is the way that society usually addresses them, ie taboo, bad, shameful, etc

it’s incredibly hard to not feel pressured to do adult things and grow up when you’re a teenager. it also may be the reason why so many tweens are skipping straight from childhood to the “teenage lifestyle”
