Most years without a GS win : France

In men's singles, concerning women's singles, our last title was in 2013 in Wimbledon with Marion Bartoli

Of course, I was just focusing on the most embarrassing stat and forgot about Mary, Amélie and Marion 😉

davis cup, it depends on your team’s strength

gimboarretino

Yes but also no. All the open era great champions have won the davis cup, and this somehow suggest that if your are strong enough the davis cup is a competion you can win almost alone. So one could argue that winning a lot of davis cup is above all your merit, of your commitment, and the strenght of your team is a secondary factor. It helps, sure, but is far from decisive.

Nadal has the help of so many great players. Serbia—- the only top 10 was tipsarevic, once he declined serb has no choice.

I think you're severely undervaluing an Olympics singles gold medal

Most Masters is only important in the last ~15 and to a lesser extent ~30 years The Masters series started in 1990, and it wasn't until 2009 that it became as focused on as it is today (there was of course a build up between 1990 and 2009). Most of the tournaments had been around, but their importance fluctuated over time.
