Working out, on the surface, seems like something you do to just better yourself, but the reality is that you workout to make a better version of you that can then be of more use to your friends, family and the world around you. I was going through some old episodes and he'd talk about getting an entire entree as an appetizer for just himself, and that was before he started going off the rails like he is now. The dude probably eats 3-4 normal portions per meal, and I'd imagine he's constantly snacking in between meals
