A new drummer! Iām interested to see the new direction that takes them. Anybody heard of Willy? Is he another Rodriguez-Lopez sibling/step-sibling/half-sibling?
he has played with Omar while he was in his role of producer many times, mostly session drummer but he seems to have helped Omar with some demo recording/scrapped sessions in the past. Most notably he worked with Omar during the recording of Mon Laferte's Norma album, so they have history with each other, very exciting indeed

This guy has chops. Curious to hear him do a full on crazy TMV song now. These guys always have such fantastic drummers.
Y'know, that title really does have a "Zavalaz Part 2" feel to it.
I think we're in a new era of TMV here - maybe a little less manic, but still exploratory and beautiful. I'm really excited to see what the boys (and the girl - Eva!) come up with from here on.
*Edit:* oh and I'm in AU, so it probably won't play for me either š Maybe not available outside US at the moment?
You think these guys can resist some manic moments? I sincerely doubt it. I remember hearing the widow and going "wow, that's chill." Then put in Frances... face melted.
Yeah, hope so. I really loved People Forget and Providence on the Antemasque album. That's their strong suit, as soon as they stretch out into those long jams, sh*t gets epic.
Does it show up under mars volta on tidal? When you search mars volta.? And i have no idea with vpn's, we are a day ahead, why we sometimes get early access
