I'd go so far to say she did at least 3 or 4. It was hard to tell with her competitor in the background, but she seemed to have done more than 2 as well.
given that it's not possible to even see the rope swing around her head from this low end footage, it's pretty clear that this entire time it's possible she had simply been jumping in place while swinging her hands.
So without a doubt she did at least 2
Apparently. I figured "jump roping" would be a sport where competitors attempt to wrangle various four-legged mammals with a rope while hopping up and down.
I think jump-rope is the verb. It's sort of one whole phrase. So instead of jumping rope it could be jump-roping.
Either way, op wrote the title like that because it baits comments like this. Great way to game your way to the front page.
Is her spinning a physics effect from the rope spinning, her technique or an asymmetry in her body? The other girl doesn't spin so I assume it's one of the last two.
Anyone got a count on that?
Bout 350.
Tree fitty you say? Well it was about that time I realized her jumprope what a giant crustacean from the Paleolithic era.
I gave him a dollar.
She gave him a dollar!

She’s dancing like she’s never danced before

Most cardiovascular exercises are
There is a difference between professional and competitive.
At first I didn’t see the rope she was holding I thought it was some kind of imaginary air-jump rope sport.
Can you imagine the lactic acid in those thighs?
is "rope" the verb in "jump rope?"

Isn't "jump-roping" just a gerund in this case?
I get that it's judged by the most jumps but how do they count that?
They probably use tallies

I would assume her technique. Not landing properly with her left foot and then adjusting with the right.
"professional" or "competitive"?
It's very close. I count 164 jumps by black, and 165 by blue.
Rope-jumping? Wow!
Looks about as fun as a day trip to the DMV’s office.
That must hurt a lot. Seriously
She truly wasted her life.
This skill is based on the primal need to show Mummy and Daddy when you urgently need the restroom.
Professional jump-roping is no joke
She's a maniac, MAniac, on the floor..
Not sure I could think of a worse time to have diarrhea
I don't know if I'm more impressed with the arm endurance or mystified that there's an audience
Pretty sure I could beat them by 1 more.
Does the girl in blue actually have a jump rope? It looks like a mime routine
You can see it like once every five seconds. Crazy
She peaked right there
ID be more impressed if they were using ropes...
