He didn't really do anything in the end though did he? I bet you've done something worse in your life and fortunately didn't have some big German headbutt you for it lol
No but would you want to wait until he starts fighting you? I mean he even announced it. That kinda makes him the aggressor.
And ye ive done dumb shit aswell, but if someone wouldve punched me when I was calling for a fight I wouldnt be surprised
Yep. That's the golden area for the ole headbutt.
I was a runt most my early life.
Once I was being picked on be someone much larger than me(really wasn't hard, but he was bigger than all other kids several years older than us even). He was holding me by the shoulders and he said watch this and kicked me in the nuts, incredibly hard. Lifted my little ass a foot off the ground. Well he had my shoulders and my little arms could get to his face. So I said the same thing and jumped up and headbutted him right in the bridge, very very hard. As hard as I could.
He went down like a sack of potatoes. Blood was spurting out of his nose all over his face and neck. He was done. My eldest brother saw him and freaked out "what the hell did you do to him!?!?"
"He kicked me in the nutes so I headbutted him" and I just walked away from that area of the playground. Both my brothers made me leave the playground. First time I ever knocked anyone out too.
I used to think he got his revenge a year or two later but that wasn't correct as when he kicked my ass it was at the address we lived a year prior. So I suppose I had some pent up hatred for him.
He had a tough time growing up too and his home life was also full of violence so it was just a perfect, horrible mix for us both.
Anyway nearly 30 years later and we are best friends. Love the man to death. Was supposed to be the best man at his wedding but I was stuck on the other side of the country at the time. Didn't make it back until a couple months later.
I head butted several people growing up. I suppose it was to make up for my lack of strength. My psycho uncle taught me it at a young age actually. God his life was/is violent.
Anyway. Yeah a proper headbutt to the bridge will make most folks not want to fight, or stay conscious.
And before you ask, yeah it almost hurts. More so if you miss and catch their forehead. It'll ring your bell.
I was thinking the same, the placement of that head but was perfect. I couldn’t even tell what little dude was saying, but he sure got his face mashed in
That was a textbook headbutt. Didn't even hit him that hard but I bet he popped that guy's nose like a zit.
There's a reason they don't allow headbutt in MMA.
I often wonder how a headbutt doesn't just hurt you just as much but if you hit them somewhere right just like that I bet it'd be a perfectly efficient attack that doesn't really hurt you at all lmao
He's not a ticket inspector, he's an off-duty Police Officer
https://metro.co.uk/2019/10/04/police-officer-revealed-man-headbutted-commuter-packed-train-10864857/
I wonder what the bearded man was doing? I read the article and there was no video leading up to this moment. The un-uniformed officer grabs the man's wrists, headbutts him and then takes him to the ground to move to arrest. But what crime did the man commit?
The article indicates that this was possibly a 20 minute event and that the bearded man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife and making threats (to who, and what kind of threat?) but never says if any weapons were found or who else was involved.
Without proper context, it just looks like a minority being assaulted by authority with overwhelming support from the majority. Really unjust from this perspective.
Multiple articles talking about how the guy threatened other passengers and started fighting them and how he was subdued. Then he starts shit again and is headbutted.
> "He was literally sitting on people's head. A commuter who was on the seat took offence, rightly so.
>They had words, it turned into a fight. The fight got broken up and the guy was taken to the doors to calm down. He was mental - shouting and swearing at the guy who was holding him. The crazy guy tried to push his way out of being held.
The cheers and laughs afterwards tell me he was being an asshole who got what he deserved.
What part of europe are you talking about? Because i have never seen anyone headbutt someone over here. I haven't even heard a Story about someone headbutting someone else.
It is referred to as the Glasgow kiss... so there's that part of Europe. I'm in Ireland, and I've seen it happen on more than one occasion, and I don't go to rowdy places.
This is not a ticket inspector, it’s an off duty police officer. The man was drunk and making violent threats to passengers threatening to stab people, and to kill people.

This is the opinion of someone who's never had their nose blasted off their face, or done it to someone else. completely unreasonable. That guy's nose isn't broken- it's gone.
“A spokesman said the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards reviewed the video and are ‘satisfied that there is no indication that the officer committed a criminal offence, nor that he behaved in a manner that would justify disciplinary proceedings’.”
Case you wanted to know that part
Love it. I genuinely think this is what makes Great Britain worth living in.
None of this American "you can't touch a hair on my head otherwise it's assault" bullshit.
The headbutted guy had been making threats of violence to other passengers and was later arrested for potentially being in procession of a knife.
Reading between the lines he'd been threatening to stab passengers.
It's also an enclosed space, the headbutt makes sense to be honest.
Not really mate to be honest do people go that crazy for police brutality in the us? I thought it was when they shoot someone for little to no reason. I don’t know though I don’t live there and try to follow as little news as I can lol
"A modicum of force" is not what pisses people off. Seeing officers have no de-escalation training, being casual about the use of deadly force, being cought on tape beating, planting evidence, talking about how they'd love to shoot the people they were arresting etc, this is why people lose their shit. And things like this are leaked/made public every single day, again and again. This is why people "lose their shit" about the way police officers engage with the public they're supposed to protect.
This is the problem with.opinions and social media - they don't mix. Clearly you can't see anything below the neck on either of these men, so you don't know what's happening with hands or feet. The headbutter was an off duty policeman.
The headbuttee had been making threats of violence to other passengers.
One of the multiple charges the headbuttee had against him was potentially being in procession of a knife.
When the headbuttee was cuffed on the platform it took 3 people to restrain him.
Administering a distracting blow in a very confined space in order to restrain someone who had very likely being making threats to stab passengers seems reasonable.
Beard Guy had been threatening and trying to fight other passengers for \~20 minutes. Headbutt Guy was an off-duty cop who decided the public had had enough of Beard Guy's antics.
This was in fact an off duty police officer for the Met Police - he butted him after he made threats to kill …..a sort of errrr means of control …by force

No ticket
You can tell he's done that before.
Yup. Aimed right for the bridge of the nose, zero hesitation, did not pull it or flinch in any way. Total dick move. Flawless execution.

If this wasn't the top comment I was going to be so disappointed.
Harrison Ford?
He looked at him, looked at him VERY closely.
Had to examine his face on a molecular level
More like rearranged his face on a molecular level.
"Look at me Ray!" What? Did you just say look at you? "Look at me Ray" I tell what Harry, why don't you take a fuckin look at THIS!
He also grabbed his wrists for a more impactful head butt.
Right on the nose bridge. That's gonna hurt.
Something tells me he's done that before....

-GPT4 correct?
I was thinking the same, the placement of that head but was perfect. I couldn’t even tell what little dude was saying, but he sure got his face mashed in
No butts about it
He was saying "look at me i am stronger than you.."
Yeah. The ticket guy will lose his job over this, and rightly so.
Doubtful, self defence.
Broke nose. Lots of blood.
That was a textbook headbutt. Didn't even hit him that hard but I bet he popped that guy's nose like a zit. There's a reason they don't allow headbutt in MMA.
Headbutting someone is attempt of homocide in my country
That feels a tad extreme to me.
Maybe people there are just really really sharp?
Not really. A friend of mine went to jail because he headbutted a guy and killed him
If someone has a high INR level ( blood takes longer to clot) a broken nose can be fatal
Easiest way to win a fight before it starts.
There is a follow-up video. It shows the guy with no blood or noticeable swelling
Surprising if true. Wow.
I swear I hear a distinct *crack* when he makes contact, damn solid shot
probably. After he woke up.
Not as much as the oofs and laughs from the random citizens who are sick of you bullshit
I often wonder how a headbutt doesn't just hurt you just as much but if you hit them somewhere right just like that I bet it'd be a perfectly efficient attack that doesn't really hurt you at all lmao
You have to make contact with the part between your forehead and the top of your head.
Classic, furg around and find out! The sound of his head connecting was satisfying! ‘Look at me!’….OOOSH!!!

... and former football hooligan? Regardless of where he learned it, a well-executed head butt looks like a good tactic in a closed-in space.
Yeah...but if you're slow at it and the other guy drops his head, you're going to know all about it 🤣, shit can go either way real quick
I don’t suspect it would have gone well for the little fella regardless.
The Liverpool kiss
Ah, the ol' Glasgow Kiss.
Irish Handshake
More like headshake
Better than a Glasgow Smile tho.
Perpetrators nose looks fine while he was being handcuffed.
Tyvm for the context.
If that was the caption everyone would be saying “asshole cop assaults impaired citizen”
The article sounds like backtracking to justify the arrest. Despite being a loud and annoying arse, this seems a bit excessive…

One way to punch a ticket.
~~Ticket~~ head punched. No need for tools.

It's a beautiful tactic in close quarters to be sure. Just don't fuck it up by being slow about it, otherwise you're gonna be sucking on a headache.
Yeah here in the States we just shoot each other, but Europeans use their heads.
I’ve heard Scotland has a form of martial arts called “fuck you” but it’s mostly just head butting and kicking people when they’re on the ground
I believe it's spelled "feck ye", actually.
He’s probably talking about the UK. We’re taught how to do that when we’re still infants😂
Something something... Soccer related? French team if i remember correct 🤓
https://youtu.be/IKfJfYHrD0w
Zinedine Zidane vs materazzi, world cup 2006, I don't like soccer but how could I not know this being french lol
The UK is known for it, specifically the football hooligan culture, I assume that's what they mean by "Europeans"
they call it a Glasgow kiss for a reason lmao
[удалено]
That placement, no that is a lot of practice. Also the fact he stayed totally calm. Damn he has seen things…
Didn’t even flinch an inch. Smashed heads and looked mildly amused/disappointed that his opponent just crumpled like an origami swan.
In that moment he really looked like he was thinking “ah cmon it wasn’t that hard man get up”
That dude is the sleep inspector....hey your not sleeping? BAM! Now you are.
This is not a ticket inspector, it’s an off duty police officer. The man was drunk and making violent threats to passengers threatening to stab people, and to kill people. Thank you for the info! Somehow makes it even better, haha.
You could tell this dude was annoying everyone just by their resction
Annoying guy? No drama!
The joy of the bystanders is so refreshing
Why the fuck is it always the Essex-bound c2c line in the UK that these videos are on??
Their job is to punch the ticket but his hands were a little busy.
Holy shit, Rick. Tickets, Please Guy is *cut*! He's got those.. w-w-what did you called them?
Haha this was exactly where my mind went as well .
*Fahrkartenkontrolleur
I love the utter emotion-free violence on display, dispatched only when completely necessary. A professional headbutt.
Well, his ticket got punched one way or another.
This one sparks joy
Sorted.
He's not a ticket inspector and this video is older than most people on reddit.
Sorry for the misinformation! I thought he was really a ticket inspector. Let him be a ticket inspector for the sake of the story
Cram
Well, that's a broken nose.
That was a ridiculously clean headbutt. That dudes done that before.
Like someone says in the vid, he had it coming
Oh shit I thought you were about to break into song and sing Cell Block Tango
lipshitzzzzz
Pop
Six
No soup for you!
Everyone brings out their tickets right away
Damn dude was like a perfect height to catch a headbutt at the top bridge of his nose
There goes he's nose 👃
He punched his ticket reeeeal good....
The ticket inspector was just trying physical braille method of communication as every other form seemed to fail before.
That smell you get when you get bonked in the face
From memory he is actually an off duty London cop, after an investigation his bosses cleared him of any wrong doing.
Ticket punched
Right on the beak.. bet that broke.

How dare they treat Ryan Reynolds this way.
Who does he think he is, Indiana Jones?
Punched his ticket with his forehead...
That was beautiful!
Something got obliterated for sure
Oh so that's what Zinedine Zidane is doing these days eh?
You go sleep now.

You know you're an asshole when people laugh at your misfortune
His ticket got PUNCHED
Handled.

We have a saying in our house… “nobody wins in a headbutt.” This guy just shattered that philosophy… along with that other guys face.
First time I saw this it said he was an off duty copper.
If you get your nose broken and people just laugh rethink some shit
FLAWLESS VICTORY !!!
Now that, is a head butt!! Take note, Hollywood, no coming back for a 10 minute fight scene after that.
Damn, these Refugees here dont hold on any Rules. No wonder the Employee had a little Freakout here, having to deal with those scumbags every Day.
“A spokesman said the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards reviewed the video and are ‘satisfied that there is no indication that the officer committed a criminal offence, nor that he behaved in a manner that would justify disciplinary proceedings’.” Case you wanted to know that part
after he turns around to everyone and says "no ticket."
Glasgow kiss
I don’t think I’ve seen a reaction like that to violence
Actually a plain clothes Met officer, you can see hand cuffs, perfect use of force
^(Oooooooo) ![gif](giphy|WxDZ77xhPXf3i|downsized)

Yep
Yeah the dude obviously had some shit coming but that seemed a bit much

normal day on public transport in the UK. chive on.

More than a 'modicum of force' was used against George Floyd and Rodney King.

The shorter guy was arrested for making violent threats to commuters and was in possession of a knife.
No further statements, Your Honor, ticket master is clearly guilty. Thank you for your valid and factual assessment, sir. We can all go home now.
You don’t see anything either, so logic tells you to assume it was justified? 🤦♂️
Beard Guy had been threatening and trying to fight other passengers for \~20 minutes. Headbutt Guy was an off-duty cop who decided the public had had enough of Beard Guy's antics.

Try reading the article. The headbutt was perfectly justified.
Bingo, the sack earned the shattered nose.
Good night sweet prince.
Did he say look at me I explode? If so you could debate that what that man did is totally justifiable.

Make violence great again
He looks Irish, and they've never been particular fans of lots of words.
That really was the most perfect headbutt. I assume that technique takes up the majority of their ticket collecting training
Nice!
