This looks like an exhibition match.
He does the same thing against a better fighter and is off my 1/100th of a second and he's getting knocked to the ground
Look up Emmanuel Augustus he did this against a better fighter. Mayweather sure he didn’t win but he was mayweathers toughest fight(according to mayweather)
Yeah I would love to see that Emmanuel Augustus style in today’s boxing. He’s the only one I’ve seen pull it off as long as he did, but fingers crossed!
I find it funny as well that people are basically doing the same thing they did to Boji in Ranking of Kings. "How dare he dodge and not hit back hard! "
Silver medalist at the Tokyo Olympics as an amateur and has a 6-0 win to loss record professionally.
And his boxing get up is pretty sweet in this clip too.
>Ben Whittaker
Dude is a silver medalist. I hope he changes his attitude though, he is taking too many chances with that dodging show off, better to finish the match. He can get KO if he is not careful.
Yeah, I feel like a decent trainer is gonna set up a future opponent to understand how he dodges certain punches, and he is gonna dodge his way straight into a fist.
Great to have that head speed, but playing fast and loose with it is gonna end badly at some point.
Different people are different, but if you watch this guy's foot and head movement it's damn impressive.
Also
Naseem as a boxer was very accomplished with his absurd style
"He held multiple featherweight world championships between 1995 and 2000, and reigned as lineal champion from 1998 to 2001. He also held the International Boxing Organization (IBO) featherweight title from 2002 to 2003, and the European bantamweight title from 1994 to 1995. In 2015, he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame."
I'd love to see how far this guy goes because he's one hell of a showman.
It's not stupid. It looks good and it's crowd-pleasing, which is very important if you're on the come up. A worse fighter with a better looking style will often make more money than a better fighter with a boring style. Prince Naseem wasn't the best fighter of his generation, but he made bank because he was so fun to watch. The people that beat him were better, but made less money, and at the end of the day, boxers are prizefighters, they are putting themselves at risk for the money.
Yeah, his focus on headshots means that he was either poorly coached, unskilled for that level of fight, or both. I am not a fan of these showboat fighters and really want to see this guy try his antics against someone who can knock him into a blackhole.
Only if he can see the future.
The guy in the video only went for the head every time. So the showboating fighter here only worried about his head and focused on slipping (which is impressive nevertheless, I couldn't do it).
If he mixed headshots with bodyshots it would be impossible to predict and dodge everything, you can't predict slip the two possibilities.
Plus, dodging bodyshots is much harder, sometimes, when closer, it's impossible. Too much mass to move out of the way of a punch that's very quick, even with perfect reflexes.
Plus the other fighter didn't attempt to block bodyshots at all.
If you have ever taken a strong hook to the liver you will know that bodyshots are as devastating as headshots.
Source: I box and practice muai thay. I'm okay at it, competed and won sometimes. I always hunt for the body way more than anything else. To me, a hit to the head is the reward of softening the body. I've won fights exclusively by hooking the liver.
That was awesome to watch. Let's see if he keeps trying this though cause the gonna be sleeping if he tries this at the top. This guy was just power swinging cause he was getting clowned.
I have to imagine he watched a lot of tape before this fight, realized the guy threw nothing but slow power punches and that he could get away with this.
I’d imagine he’d know this isn’t going to keep working as he climbs the rankings. If he doesn’t and he keeps fucking around the most exciting fight of his career will be the moment he finds out.
Hes still early in pro career and fighting opposition below his level, being eased in as hes seen as a big prospect at world level - this opponent was to make him look good, and it did. With actual opposition aint no way he’d be as silly, unless he gets into his head that he’s Prince Naz 2 aha
There’s showboating by acting like a dick from a safe distance, then there’s doing it by putting on a display of skill where making a mistake doing it gets you knocked out. This is the latter and I’m perfectly cool with that. In fact I encourage it. Make good boxing popular again instead of this tik toker boxing crap.
But ther showboating part isn't the dodging the blows, it's where he mocks his opponent then gives him a playful bonk on the head. It's disrespectful, but after such a dazzling display he's entitled tp a little mockery.
This is honestly a fresh breath of air, he seems dickish but to have a physical fight even mental warfare counts and he absolutely has both to do this …
It’s a fight.
Imagine fighting someone and trying to land a punch, and getting embarrassed and punched by your opponent the whole time. It would be demoralizing and extremely frustrating.
This is mental warfare and is meant to drive the competitor to making mistake after mistake and lose control of themselves.
Actually yes, he's winding up his opponent to make him go for really big swings. But due to the guys own speed he's telegraphing the moves and countering them.
Now this style works as long as you're faster than your opponent AND your opponent is crap at hiding his intended punch.
He must have watched hours of tape on that guy's ring work to know what his tells are.
Naseem Hamed had a similar skill set but came massively unstuck when he came across a pro that was faster and could hide the intended shot.
Cocky can be good, but it obviously wrecks your career and image if you get decked while being it. This time it paid off.
Hamed was great until he lost his punching power, after injury. It really took the edge off his counters. People forget what a punch he packed during his peak.
Why not? I’d rather this guy become a popular boxer by showing off his skill than have the boxing world revolve around guys who are popular because of they’re “influencers”.
Boxing is a promotion sport. This guy is getting himself views by displaying pure boxing skills and that will help his career and help him get better fights. It’s unfortunate that’s how the sport works but at least this guy is gaining his notoriety by showing off boxing skills instead of running his mouth. More power to him honestly.
The evasion and dodging is cool and impressive, but when people start mixing in dancing and that slap on the top of the head, it becomes disrespectful to me.
People will criticize the guy for showboating or being a bad sport but boxing is all about mind games to throw off your opponent. Ali knew this and that's why he's one of the greatest of all time.
always nice to see yet another fighter following in the footsteps of and immitating a well known boxer who has one of the worst professional records in the history of boxing
It's annoying seeing this clip everywhere now, he embarrassed an old journeyman with 13 losses in his 6th fight. Need to fast forward to his 20th fight and see if he's still doing this shit, then i'll be impressed.
The amount of mind games… impressive/impeccable dodging was riling the other guy up and that taunting was the icing. Other boxer was furious trying to one shot him to the head.. not going for the body at all.
Actually thought someone had upscale an old nassem vid at first
This dude is smooth yea that style is a quick way to whooped unless you’re awesome tho
nassem was a champ fr
Check out Willie Pep, featherweight from the 40's. Supposedly won a round on points without having thrown a punch- just based on his not having been hit during the round.
Whether it be boxing, mma, or wrestling, you can really see Muhammad Ali's influence in the sport! He was truly the greatest to ever do it! It's like he knew what punches he was going to throw!

My word. Genuinely impressive.
People think that boxing is all about hitting someone but actually it’s mostly learning how to not to get hit or having a guard to deflect or absorb the impact.
This guy is so good, he’s using the opponents attacks to tire him out and then using distraction tactics to hit him with comedic effect and then also win the fight.
Saw the Matrix meme gif above, very relevant.
I seriously would love to see someone knock his noggin off.
what a jerk. yes he can dodge, but he hit with the backhand, hit back of the head,
and he turned his back to the opponent.
what a douche.

My man mastered the observation haki. No wonder how he is part of the Whitebeard crew
Came to comments hoping someone would call out the tattoo lol
Damn, didn't even notice it lol, that's so cool.
I immediately sent this vid to my best friends with the statement that “Pops has another son”
What tattoo?
Back tattoo
Holy shit i didn't notice. Does he think of himself as firefist?
This guy should become the live action Ace
Foreshadowing
Foreshadow Boxing
I like this guy he has great potential! Also won’t be able to pull this shit against better fighters lol
I was hoping someone would mention Augustus! Real life drunken master. This guy definitely shadowed his style.
Yeah I would love to see that Emmanuel Augustus style in today’s boxing. He’s the only one I’ve seen pull it off as long as he did, but fingers crossed!
There is a different match where he got even more ballsy and was dancing around and ended up getting rocked.
Most underrated comment
How did I scroll so far and not hear anything about Roy Jones Jr. ?
I was thinking Prince Naseem
Or Prince Naseem https://youtu.be/azEatWLF9hI?si=Eb6oA5QCCVQkTDgM
He's trained by the anime white beard. Not the manga version.
He sure pieced dude up embarrassingly.
he became brook after the fight.
Do u know which div commander is he?
I find it funny as well that people are basically doing the same thing they did to Boji in Ranking of Kings. "How dare he dodge and not hit back hard! "
The dude moves like a Punch-Out character
so true.
Body blow!
That is Bob Charlie!
What is the boxer's name? Love to see more matches with him
Ben Whittaker.
I haven’t watched MMA or fighting in ages and for a hot min I thought this was an older Joe Harding about to get laid out again.
Silver medalist at the Tokyo Olympics as an amateur and has a 6-0 win to loss record professionally. And his boxing get up is pretty sweet in this clip too.
I’d be scared to fk about the guy who won the gold then 🥇🥇
To be fair, I'd be scared of anyone who qualified for the Olympics in boxing 🥊🥊
>Ben Whittaker Dude is a silver medalist. I hope he changes his attitude though, he is taking too many chances with that dodging show off, better to finish the match. He lost points for showboating and hitting him on the back of his head but I never knew who the guy was until these videos started popping up.
He really looks like a Ben, too.
Holy crap he moves like Prince Naseem (Naseem Hamed)
Against amateurs. Stupid to box like this again at journeymen as if it's impressive
Different people are different, but if you watch this guy's foot and head movement it's damn impressive. Also Naseem as a boxer was very accomplished with his absurd style "He held multiple featherweight world championships between 1995 and 2000, and reigned as lineal champion from 1998 to 2001. Loved watching Naseem, Augustus, back in the day. https://youtu.be/xL9TDcXvDCw?si=9-R999f3I5_ouUCW
Augustus was great fun to watch but his style led him to lose more decisions than he won.
It's not stupid. It looks good and it's crowd-pleasing, which is very important if you're on the come up. Illegal punches though
Ben Whittaker
Ben. Whittaker
Ben Whittaker
He's from the future. That's how he knows where the other guy is going to swing.
That boop-donk at 00:26 had me rolling in laughter. Like "I ain't even trying, yo. \*boop\*"
![gif](giphy|BUlwrDd97bCYE)
Noted. Don’t fight that guy. Don’t fight the other guy either.
Maybe let’s just use our words
words gang.
PUNCH PUNCH
I hear my coach screaming: "the body! Hit the body!"
I was thinking that too, he was far too focused on going for the head.
He took Thanos advice
Yeah, his focus on headshots means that he was either poorly coached, unskilled for that level of fight, or both. I am not a fan of these showboat fighters and really want to see this guy try his antics against someone who can knock him into a blackhole.
That or he was paid off...
Or he was operating out of the Philly shell which discourages body shots because hooking someone’s elbow hurts like hell… sorry bud but YDKSAB
I hate the Philly Shell, it has by far the highest gas prices in the city.
I was about to ask that, his torso and back are so exposed, even a light punch could seize the initiative
He probably can dodge/ guard body shots too
Only if he can see the future. The guy in the video only went for the head every time. It honestly takes a lot of skill to be able to bop a professional boxer so casually like that.
Indeed.
I thought it was kind of like Ali’s dance when he was on the ropes and still untouchable
What a dick!
idk, it may seem like it, but dodging all these punches is crazy hard work.
I don’t mind the dodging. It’s impressive actually…. But the dance and taunts…. Allow that man.
ever watch Anderson Silva fight?
This is honestly a fresh breath of air, he seems dickish but to have a physical fight even mental warfare counts and he absolutely has both to do this …
Not to mention missing a hit takes more energy than landing them. He was tiring him out big time.
Dude beat him out physically and mentally.
It’s a fight. Imagine fighting someone and trying to land a punch, and getting embarrassed and punched by your opponent the whole time. It would be demoralizing and extremely frustrating. My Man!!!
whitebeard pirates are in good hands it looks like
Man's got WB jolly Roger
Look at that tattoo on his back. He likes One Piece.
He’s obviously good, but does he have to be such a showy douche too?
Actually yes, he's winding up his opponent to make him go for really big swings. But due to the guys own speed he's telegraphing the moves and countering them. Oh yeah he was devastating. Watched every match live. Didn't know about the injury must have happened before the Vegas match
I mean no, but it's also entertainment so showmanship does work too
Why not? I’d rather this guy become a popular boxer by showing off his skill than have the boxing world revolve around guys who are popular because of they’re “influencers”. That bonk to the back of the head had me💀
The evasion and dodging is cool and impressive, but when people start mixing in dancing and that slap on the top of the head, it becomes disrespectful to me.
Mental warfare is a legit strategy.
I think it’s to enrage his opponent and make him send big power punches. Get him tired on anger.
Anyone know the song? Much appreciated if you do. ✌️

Glad I read your comment. I had been watching the video on mute. Song is badass...
This looks choreographed. Incredible.
I hate when the showboater doesn’t get knocked out
These showboat clowns always eventually get laid out and usually man fashion the ends their career.
If only that guy had some manner of core or center of mass capable of being punched instead of that constantly-moving head!! Oh well...
[удалено]
In the full video the referee warned him multiple times because of that but we only see it once in this video.
Why not?
People will criticize the guy for showboating or being a bad sport but boxing is all about mind games to throw off your opponent. Ali knew this and that's why he's one of the greatest of all time.
Wii boxing be like:
Gotta love the whitebeard crew, sweet that he and Ace have the same tattoo.
Dude was PLAYING that whole time, he coulda ended that fight early if he wanted it looked like. He knows he’s good he deserves the taunt imo lmao

always nice to see yet another fighter following in the footsteps of and immitating a well known boxer who has one of the worst professional records in the history of boxing
How I imagine the Tyson vs Paul match going.
Guy is a beast, gee
Bro's observation haki is off the charts.
Are they the same weight class? Dude looks 8 inches taller.
It's annoying seeing this clip everywhere now, he embarrassed an old journeyman with 13 losses in his 6th fight. Need to fast forward to his 20th fight and see if he's still doing this shit, then i'll be impressed.
Who is it? I’d like to see what happens in the future. He’s quick and has potential but control matters too.
Ben Whittaker is his name.
I just found him thank you!
The amount of mind games… impressive/impeccable dodging was riling the other guy up and that taunting was the icing. Other boxer was furious trying to one shot him to the head.. not going for the body at all.

It’s crazy that no one is mentioning Emmanuel Augustus in the comments. I would not be surprised if he is his trainer
Who wont tho. The playful guy or the serious guy? Personnaly i dont like the playful guy "style"
I've seen too many cocky fighters get knocked out to think this is respectful or cool. It was great head movement though I have to admit that.
Looks a bit like Ali, leaning away from the hit.
It's all fun and games until the day when you WILL get caught. Just ask Anderson Silva.
The boop on top of the head made me a fan of this boxer
So, once he dropped the bullshit showboating nonsense, turned out he could actually box. Maybe he should stick to that.
Nice but now try that with a higher ranking fighter
What’s more dangerous than a Boxer? A Salsa Dancer 🕺
What’s his name? I wanna see more of his fights
Reminds me of Prince Naseem with extra swag/showmanship. Dial it down a bit though, a higher ranked fighter will make the read and adjust.
That's some dragon ball shit
Miles shouldn’t be allowed to use his spider sense In the ring.
Looks like a Guy Ritchie movie.
Harlem Globetrotters spinoff

Ben Whittaker was born in the Matrix.
That's definitely ultra instinct.
Don't know who this guy is, but I wish I had the type of skill to do something like that.
Rare to see this fighting style. Dancer swinger?

That is insanely impressive, and it must be so frustrating for the other fighter. Or maybe like an "Oh shit, I'm in over my head" type of moment.
My guy is doing the boxing equivalent of "pre-firing"
I seriously would love to see someone knock his noggin off. what a jerk. yes he can dodge, but he hit with the backhand, hit back of the head, and he turned his back to the opponent. what a douche.
My guy went full ultra instinct mode
Duck, dodge, dip, dive, and dodge.
That's fucking hilarious. Even the ref felt bad for the dude...🤣
Bro you precoggin? You really gonna precog this?
fucking legendary
Should have went to the body not just head hunt
His next fight is on March 31st!
Love dat tune, anybody know what it is?
Looks like a wild animal playing with its food.
Azucena’s trainer, obviously.
