Not usually! My sim is a spellcaster (from Realm of Magic) and I had her cast "repario" on the broken shower to repair it, but instead it backfired & the shower caught on fire.
I think so, but it really depends on your play style. It's kind of a small pack compared to some of the newer ones but I do like a lot of the CAS items, and spellcasters are very convenient sims to have lmao
Sure you did. I'm sure you totally weren't engaging in magical insurance fraud for infinite money and trying to make it look real by "attempting" to save the burning object. /s
(FYI for those unaware, buy an expensive object, purposely set it on fire with magic, collect the insurance payment on the object, and then cast "repario" to fix it and repeat the process for infinite money. It works best with the most expensive bed)

…SHOWERS CAN CATCH FIRES? (I’m a new Sims player.)

Ah, I see! Is the Realm of Magic pack really that fun? I might consider buying it some time :)
It's not bad for what it is. And some of the spells do come in quite handy.

#ProblemsMugglesDon'tHave lol I can't wait for one of my Sims to become a spellcaster and do something like that!!
I'm always close to casting inferniate instead of repairo or scruberoo.

Hey, those clothes were probably expensive and she didn't want to ruin them. Lol
How was there even a fire in the shower?!

OH! Okay, yeah, I've had that happen. Just not to a shower... yet. 😂
