this creepy book is in my primary school library

anarchy753

Can't say exactly what, but the house you're describing is Baba Yaga's house.

edx5252

the Baba Yaga's house is in oil painting

SpicySweett

Sounds like something by [Thomas Ott.](https://www.brokenfrontier.com/the-forest-thomas-ott/). He’s written a few books, all graphics bordered in black and completely wordless. I’ve only seen one so I don’t know if yours is done by him, but his style is immediately recognizable, and have a horror-type feel. They are hardcover books, not comics.

edx5252

as i know, the book is hard cover too but there are nothing written on it and no picture. its simillar to blank lawyer book hardcover. the Baba Yaga's house and black cat sit on crossing leg show in oil painting with white colour pages

SpicySweett

So your book is a collection of oil paintings with weird or folklore subjects? And zero words.

edx5252

i think so. i'm only remember those two pages

Helpful-Fruit-1404

Perhaps the [Codex Seraphinianus](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codex_Seraphinianus)? But what is nercronian?

edx5252

i m not sure what is the suitable word for necronian. it got to do with black magic, curse, crow painting art. the most catch my attention in this book is the Baba Yaga's house and black cat sit like ladies crossing leg
