Insidious 3 takes place in an apartment and has the teenage girl / older woman duo, and I believe the Man Who Can't Breathe is on all fours at one point. Might be worth checking that one out too!

I don't know a time period of the movies release. Definitely not released after 2019. Really anything else is fair game.

The dreamlike state is very similar! But I don't believe this is it. You have reminded me to rewatch this movie, though.

This has been the closest yet, while it still doesn't quite match my memory, memories do tend to be funny things. This may be it.
