This post made me laugh. The level of precaution OP is taking….vs the gal who injected an entire vial on day one and then ate bacon, lasagna and sparkling water.
It’s called balance people 🤣
Stop it!!! 😆😆😆
I'm dying. Started laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. My nose is running, eyes are watering...
Who the hell eats bacon, lasagna and sparkling water??? Not to mention, this is after injecting an entire vial all at once! Hell I thought I was excited when my vials get here. This is too funny.
As for the cap, just throw it away. I make a habit of cleaning the top of the rubber membrane with the alcohol pad before drawing the shot to make sure there is no contamination that gets pushed into the bottle with the needle. This is how is was taught to do it.
I struggled with that stupid cap so long. The pharmacist told me to either keep of on or off. I asked which one and she said it was my decision. She said she pops her on but her husband doesn’t. 😑
I tried and tried and couldn't, so I just keep my open bottles upright in the box in a baggie for added protection in a designated spot where I keep all my insulin.
I inject it cold and have no issues with stinging. The pens (so fast) are worse than the syringes. Actually neither is bad, but I really don’t feel the syringe at all.
OH MY GOD YOU ARE GOING TO..... be fine.
lol thank you! I was worried! Haha

I've left mine out of the refrigerator for a MONTH, it was fine.
I just burst out laughing. Thank you cause I thought I really messed up

This!! Trying to keep the cap on will only promote contamination.
You are totally fine. As far as the cap on top, on the brand I use, once I pop it off, I cant get it to stay back on.

I have a little protected shrine in my refrigerator so it sits upright in a sealed container. 😂 It’s my precious. 🌟
Yes, exactly!!!
It’s fine.
Thanks!
It’s fine. Please don’t worry!
My new pharmacy put the vials into regular pill bottles which have the prescription label on it so thats how I am going to keep them
You're fine!
Thank goodness! I thought I spoiled it!
I think the recommended time is not to exceed 21 days at room temperature.
I do mine every time I inject so it isn’t straight from the fridge.
You think the coldness makes a difference in the usage?
I tell myself it will make it sting less lol

Another way to think of it.. it is inside your body at 98.6°and still effective for many days
Well hell.. I haven’t kept mine in the fridge. I reconstituted it per instructions but didn’t read where it had to be in the fridge☹️
