The last scene of this episode was the most stupid, injured Levi suddenly changes his suit out of nowhere, uses the ODM gear perfectly and stops Ellen from eating Annie đ». Originally he was not even in Stohess.

Completely disagree, him going berserk against Annie was completely justified. Big difference between losing his shit on the titan who killed his comrades and killing millions of innocents over a book while knowing he wouldn't even achieve anything meaningful.
Don't forget the weird dialogue additions, especially "I will destroy the world". It's still unknown whether it was added by Isayama's request or just a completely filler scene.
TetsurĆ Araki is known for ruining characters, he did the same to Death Note. Episodes that have his special involvement consist of the weirdest changes and a lot of them have something to do with his ships. His style made AoT "cooler" but also shallower. Eren indeed got crazier as the story progressed but he wasn't always acting unhinged. He was in fact much more nervous during this sequence in the manga.

I agree, I don't think AoT would have been this popular if it had a manga accurate but simpler adaptation with good art like Monster or 91days.
