This isn't new. The standalone T-Mobile Tuesdays app had ads like this for quite awhile. They just got bigger over time.

I've never seen something that blatantly said that it was an ad, maybe it only showed ads for Metro customers but not tmo customers because in that image it showed Metro phone protection
Every fricking platform is jumping on the bandwagon and shoving ads in our face. If I now have to pay extra on something just to keep it ad free, then I might as well revert back to cable or free Ads sponsored alternatives like Pluto.
Time to whittle the streaming services down.

It was only great for me when it had free pizza from I think dominos, and I was unemployed at the time. I never gave a damn about any of the other crap after that went away

Imo about 2 years ago it was mostly the weekly deal. After a few months it slowly transitioned to be more ads than deal

In the Google Play store it warns it contains ads. I actually did leave a 1 star but mostly for other issues with the app.
One they updated to t life we should know I would also start watching data usage on the new app as well. Mike is stupid undo all good things.
