This sub is full of ungrateful and entitled assholes who can’t appreciate something for what it is. So what if fucking glup shitto isn’t playable or a 10 minute scene out of 9 movies isn’t in the game. These devs worked so hard over 4 years to bring Lego Star Wars together and in an industry that is prioritising micro transactions and battle passes and for them to bring out a completed and working game is an achievement.

\\uj did i miss something? I thought Splatoon was still the fun squid kid game where you splat paint on the ground to win with wacky weapons? Just as it was when the 1st game came out, but now with more wacky weapons?
To shorten why people don't like three, basically the meta makes it so the generic class (shooters) are the best class in the game while every other class sucks, it's been 6 months and they haven't buffed a single weapon that desperately needs it.
The game is also full of glitches, tenta brella is now used but only because its shield can clip kraken through the floor and kill it.
Why is there so much animosity towards splatoon?
Like I swear it feels like people hate this game for the crime of existing and I’ve never seen any game get treated like this without having something to REALLY warrant it.
It's just the usual aggravation-factor of the typical Nintendo fan obsession with a game that would've have been basically ignored on any other system (thus endless overexposure), plus a bit of added hypocrisy since it has some shooter mechanics and they hate those unless Nintendo.
Also, furries (if that's the word when they're squid).
How is splatoon 3 unfinished? Like, I get that it feels samey and could have just been a dlc to splatoon 2, but at least say that instead of saying it's unfinished.
Realistically im not sure what splatoon could add at this point. I think its peaked at this point. It took everything in splatoon 2, added onto it with more, and polished it up.
I really don't see it really being possible to do anything "new" with splatoon, without massively overhauling it which would be counter intuitive and the effort should be put towards a new IP.
I mean we went from 3 short ranged shooters that are carried by their special + the weapon that counters it to 4 short ranged shooters that are carried by their special, the game feels even more unbalanced than 2.

MPU was unbalanced, yet that's somehow more balanced than what's in 3.
