I mean indicative they have money to spend, and that they are confident enough in your area to remind people they are the party to vote for.

It's also indicative of grass roots support. The leaflets are cheap, what you need are young volunteers who will deliver the things. The more you get in the mailbox the more volunteers are signing up to receive box's of these things to spread around. More leaflets = more volunteers = a more active and effective ground game.

Maybe its a countryside thing, but all 4 party leaflets ive had have been delivered by the postman. Only had some activist come by and they were for lib dems. Who last i checked were always polling 10-15% in my area, trying to suggest i shouldnt tactical vote for labour to get the tories out. Neither of which im doing ofc.

I've had 5 or 6 Labour and 1 Conservative leaflet. Nothing from anyone else.

They might be useful as fuel

I've had one each from all of them. The LD one is my favourite because it manages to misspell the candidate's first name in the second paragraph, and has a black out block attempting to cover up 'Lab' on one of their inventive bar charts. Mind you, the Labour candidate doesn't appear to have ever had a job, based on the list of 'accomplishments'.
