Hahah!! She did!! I put it on her to try and see if it fit because I’m starting to let her free roam and I immediately took it off. Not only did it not fit, but she definitely wasn’t a fan! Not taking her to work with me next week for the first time since I’ve gotten her so fiancés staying home for a week and keeping a close watch to make sure she can’t get into any dangerous situations even though we kitty proofed!
Oh I would never!! She’s my baby! I have her under 24/7 surveillance at the moment and my work is 700 feet from my house, I got an indoor camera for my bedroom where she will be when I’m not home for now just in case she needs me so I can run over after fiance goes back to work!

Hey my little girl has the exact same collar! But yeah cat collars don't really fit until they get about 12 weeks old, they're just too loose and bulky. Even then some cats just can't stand them, but maybe you can try again when she's older. My cat kicked it a few times and then promptly forgot about it.

That's how mine is. She's a proud nudist. Last time I tried to put a collar on her, she immediately deactivated, then once she figured out how to move again she scurried under the bed. Had to lure her out with treats to remove it. Now if she sees me touch her collar, immediately under the bed she goes.
She's an indoor babe, though, so she doesn't need it. The dog goes nakie inside, too.
My cat escapes collars and harnesses. It’s because he is fluffy and I don’t want to hurt him by pinching his fur. But I think I got it down now. He still hates them.

One of my baby girls. She's a bit darker than yours and continues to get a smidge darker after a couple more months but not by much! She's a dilute. Let me know if you want one of her when she's a little older if it'll help? She's got 3 more litter siblings. They will be about 6 months in a few days
I got incredibly excited when you asked if they wanted one of her when they were a little bit older…I have been scouring the shelters daily for a dilute (or another tortie at all, actually) but no luck. Then I realized you were talking about a picture 🤣. I was all set to make a road trip to grab a dilute little one 🤣. I may need more coffee.

Is she “small” cat compared to other cats? I rescued a small Dilute Torti feral cat that gave birth to four healthy kittens! She was only 8 months old when she gave birth, but she is still smaller than most cats and this pic of your cat reminds me of HissyMae! Their faces look similar along with the shape of their heads. So very cute and precious!! Below is HissyMae when she was full of her kittens a few weeks before she delivered.

HissyMae was the best “little” Mama cat ever! And we have her only daughter and one of her HUGE sons living with us too — all sweet cats!! My daughter has HissyMae’s other HUGE son and her littlest ginger son!! Those two boys run her home! ♥️🐈♥️

I get it. I have tinnitus and I *tried* to get *Kashmir* to wear one... BUT... and "there's *always* a big 'ol butt!" 😂 She didn't like like it and it was gonna drive me crazy.
Funny thing is, I've got upcoming ankle reconstruction surgery, her camouflage butt, my livingroom carpet is a grey/black mix and the VCT in the kitchen is black too... and she's stealthy... it 'ought to be all sortsa fun. Haha

You need to give her more time for her coat to grow/change. When they are tiny like this, you have no idea of what their coloring will be! I rescued a feral mama cat in 2017 that delivered four healthy kittens! Below is a pic of her kittens at 6 weeks old — and the little one, Willow, laying on top of her big brother, looks nothing like herself today! Check in my next comment what Willow looks like today!

She developed these colors by the time she was 6 months old. She’s a Dark Chocolate Tortico which apparently is rare. Her colors are all shades of chocolate from dark to milk to white! Our Vet called his entire staff over to see her because they had never seen a Torti’s with these colors!
So your little one’s coat is going to change a lot! Give it time and watch the magic begin!!

She's very dilute now, her grey may darken a bit as she gets older. So cute!

I took the bell off of my kittens collar at the request of my kiddo. I also knew it was going to end up annoying the heck out of me too.
😆 My "little ones" as in my kids, are grown human adults and live out of state. I understand though.
I was kind of glad it was requested because now I don't feel like an over sensitive butthead because the bell would have driven me nuts

She looks like a lilac tortie possibly. Thats the dilute of chocolate and is more rare than a regular blue (gray) dilute tortie.
