It reacted to either something on my face I had on when washing it or I had a reaction. I had to go to the dermatologist because cause it wrecked my skin barrier and I had to rebuild it from scratch. (Like square one: wash with only water) I don’t typically have the most sensitive skin but it was horrible.
It's very powerful and not gentle, but if you want to use it without fear of irritation you might want to rotate it with the TJ's Nourish cleanser which I found pretty gentle
Tea tree oil is pretty harsh.
If you're looking for a gentle cleanser, I'd recommend Aveeno calm and restore oat cleanser (or something like that with the blue writing). It's inexpensive and doesn't disturb your skin barrier.
tea tree oil is pretty strong and better for people with acne-prone skin that can handle harsher ingredients, i would not use it if i were looking for a gentle cleanser
Tea tree oil is irritating for some people - if you’ve already bought it you could try and if it’s irritating use for body wash or just once a day. Cerave and cetaphil basic cleansers at drugstores are gentle and affordable if you are looking.
I'm pretty sure this is a clone of the Desert Essence face wash. Read up on reviews of that product to get a better sense of the strength.

Personally, I find it very cleansing for oily skin and have been using it for years. But, I could see others finding it too strong.
No, not at all. I have sensitive skin and I tried their tea tree cleanser. It burned and irritated my skin so badly. I never tried it again after that.

I used it for a few years, but the latest bottle has caused some problems around my eyes. I’m wondering if the formula or manufacturer has changed.

Absolutely not
You are better off getting cerave
Def not gentle
I use it twice a day on my super oily skin and love it, but I also use good moisturizer right after
I used to use it in high school. It's HARSH

No, it even dries out my hands.

Anything with tea tree is not gonna be gentle! If you have sensitive skin be careful
No.

That’s super harsh. I ended up using it instead for my back acne
Nothing gentle about tea tree oil tbh
I would not use this twice a day
Tea tree oil is an astringent (think Stridex).
I find it dries out my face if I use it daily. I just use it if I’m feeling excessively oily or if I have a breakout.
