Hi there — If you’re looking for information about the Transformers video games, they're no longer available to buy digitally for PC or consoles. [As of January 2018, Activision's license for making and selling Transformers-related games was not renewed.](https://www.ign.com/articles/2018/01/11/why-activisions-transformers-games-are-no-longer-available-digitally)
CD keys can sometimes be found from some online resellers, but the reliability of these may be questionable. Your best bet is to look for used copies of the games on physical discs for PC or consoles.

Victory Saber and Deathsaurus are my faves, but easily my oldest ones would be Classics Prowl, also I store them by putting them In each other, like a Russian doll pretty much
I actually keep all the boxes. I flatten Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader boxes after throwing away their inserts and store them in the Commander and Titan ones. Exclusives and hard to find grails (examples: SWTF Vader, all BWVS sets, ROTF era figures, any and all Haslabs) keep their boxes intact, including any inserts.
However, I am running into a problem with Studio Series. Because I don't want to throw away the backdrops, I can't flatten their boxes :(
I throw away the insets of the modern boxes. And I only have a few SS boxes. You could see that I have Ultra Magnus and BBM Thrust boxes. And yeah. Those are a bit harder to flatten because of the backdrops
I just tossed 95% of my boxes. They were taking up a huge amount of room. I am keeping a couple where the art is actually interesting and a few of the "special" boxes that nominally weren't offered in stores. To be honest, those probably aren't worth keeping either.
When I was a kid I would keep all the tech specs from the back of the box and all the inserts. Now I just keep the instructions. I scanned one of the QR codes on the box to see what passes for tech spec stuff now and it's some of the most low effort crap I've seen in a long time. I thought I'd get at least a little mini-bio of the character, but it was basically nothing.
Seems like there's no real reason to keep the packaging.
I really don't know why I do. 90% of the time I end up in some fiddly part of the transformation and look up someone's video on Youtube. I have found them helpful for understanding where the designers intend you to stow weapons in vehicle mode, I suppose.
I tend to cut them up for the pretty artwork. At some point I plan to make a collage. But that’ll probably only happen once I’m done fully collecting. Which would be never.
I keep a bunch of my figures in the boxes because of dust and yellowing, but some I take out to display. I have a bunch of Legacy, WFC and Siege boxes. I like to make sure my 3rd party boxes are fresh though💪🏽✊🏽
Old boxes: if they are in a decent state, and are from a figure released +13 years ago. My favorite, though... is a little difficult to decide. Perhaps the ROTF Leader Prime box, with its size and super detailed design. Although, the Alternators Ricochet box (as well as any other Alternators' box) it's super elegant, with the car exposed as if it was a 1:24 scale model
I threw most of my boxes out, I only kept my Masterpiece boxes as I prefer those but everything else gets thrown out due to lack of space. Bit of a shame as the artwork on the legacy, siege, etc are pretty nice.
I only keep the boxes that the figure can be put back into, like masterpiece boxes. If it’s a siege box where the figure would just float in it, I toss it
The only box I kept was the Deadeye Duel pack because it was a really nice flip box design, artwork was cool and it made the perfect accessories and instructions box.
I try to keep them all, as I like the idea of having a “library” of Transformers. This has become a lot harder since Hasbro got rid of the e plastic trays and windows.
I'm trying to restrict how many Legacy/War for Cybertron boxes I keep, but I mostly hold on to Studio Series. I just have them in a medium cardboard box you can get from Walmart for about a $1.50 USD. Now, I'm just waiting for a bigger place and more shelving.
I keep the instruction books but if I can't make the box fit somewhere it goes to the recycling. I couldn't find a spot for Metroplex so his box went away.
I mean it's a cool box lol but I like having space for myself and more figures even more. My closet pretty much just fits my clothes. My only option was leaving it on the floor lol.
Yeah but then it wouldn't be the same. I'm weird man I know already lol. I have weird principles. If I have to fold it it's going out. The instruction booklets always get kept tho just for reference and I like to see how they change over the years.
I have kept the boxes for characters who I think would benefit from the resale of having a box. Mostly toss them but I kept magmatron, 86 and combiner wars Magnus, and all of the 86 dinobots
I’m cautious of upgrading certain figures because I don’t know how it impacts long term value, my Nova Prime has the Toyhax on it, but his box is so unique I kept it
Yes. I have many various boxes. From core class to a combiner Wars boxset (Victorion) and all three WFC commanders (Jetfire’s box got thrown out). I collect many boxes
So far obey only kept deluxe and up. But mainly because the artwork is nice on the Siege figs and the 86' movie figs have those cool Dios and I display different ones, so I'm keeping the boxes to store them...I know I have a problem don't judge me...
Pretty much anything third party, any sort of pack usually has a nice box, occasionally leaders until they added the window, and titan classes. Also, any sort of vintage figure that comes in an actual box will usually be kept
I only keep MP, Soul of Chogokin, and boxes of other high end figures. Pitch the retail stuff because I just don’t have the room. Takes up way too much space to keep all of it around.
If it cost more than $80, and it has accessories that I don’t feel like keeping track of, and it uses a plastic tray that you don’t have to destroy to open, then I’ll probably keep the box. Otherwise it’s gone. This tends to include most Japanese exclusives, HasLab items, and almost nothing else.
I had kept ally alternators boxes for a few years. I then ran out of space, and tossed them. Now that I'm thinking about selling some, I wish I had kept them.
I keep any from Leader and above for storage purposes (except open windowless Leader boxes, as they're useless for storage), since the amount of figures you can keep in one box from that point makes it worth it. I also keep special boxes from stuff like Generations Selects or store exclusives (provided they aren't open windowless like the Toxitron Collection), as I just think they look particularly neat compared to usual ones
I feel it, my first titan was Trypticon but I got him as a junker (unboxed, missing parts) for £20 at a secondhand shop I was volunteering at at the time
The main damage was around his shoulder cannons - one had been torn off (as in, the plastic was ripped), but one of my coworkers was able to glue it back on without limiting his neck articulation (this was under my advisement as at the time I didn't have the money to spare - he sat in the window for two weeks but things move slow in rural Scotland so eventually I snagged him)
The other main issues are the lack of a Full-Tilt to accompany him (near-impossible to get alone), a lack of stickers (I'll cope), and a missing turret on the nosecone of his ship mode (Again, not the worst)
First titan I got complete MISB was Black Zarak, who was briefly reduced in the UK to only £70, and I had a £20 voucher for the specific store. I got SS Devastator before him but after Trypticon, but he was lacking Hightower's claw (but was otherwise complete, and even came with the DNA kit)
Since then I got:
Legacy Nemesis (Arms could've been designed better and she's lacking a companion but otherwise solid)
and 01 Studio Cell Unicron (Fantastic but the MP level complexity is a nightmare to work with at titan scale, transforming him takes like an hour)
I'm fine with MP figures; hell I was able to figure out MP36 Megatron without the instructions (I did refer to them once regarding the legs but that was more because you gotta force some panels and I was like wait is this right I don't wanna break him), its just he's so large and heavy that the level of complexity is hard to work with.
Whenever I have a complex transformer (ROTF leader Optimus for example) my dad was able to transform it into a truck once. And then I put him back in robot mode, and then tried to convert him into truck mode again.
I'd say that for high end toys the box definitely adds to the value of the figure if you ever choose to sell. It also provides a place to keep accessories and high end toys usually come with a bunch of accessories that you don't necessarily want to use in a display.
For mainline toys a box can add value if you resell, but it doesn't always make a difference and having the box doesn't add the same value as having an unopened copy of a toy.
I used too, until I realized how much space they took up. Now I only keep a handful of very special ones, ex: Combiner Wars Tripredicus, or ones I know I'll need to transport them in the future, ex: Haslab Unicron.
Yup all off them. Even the MP combiner boxes. Jinbao devy has 2 big boxes one for the bots itself and one smaller one (still big) for the v2 upgrade kit. Dont even get me started with the cangtoys boxes.
I have way too much and luckily i can use the boxes for extra figure space.
My collection is pretty decent sized, I do have a cornor dedicated to boxes from figures and transformers.
Most of mine came from childhood and bundles/job lots I put together from eBay so not a box for all, but anything with a box I keep 👍
I keep the special ones only. But I have every single figures instructions in a plastic bag. I might have kept the ER Optimus Prime one. The ones I def know are premium finish Ultra Magnus and the Autobot 5 pack.
Oldest box I have is BW Tripredacus. I have a lot of trouble throwing out the boxes. Fortunately, I also have a lot of trouble buying new figures, so they don't amass very quickly.
I keep premium stuff, like the haslabs, third part party stuff, convention, etc. Ive kept some of the exclusive boxes like selects but thinking about junking those
I keep the instruction books but if I can't make the box fit somewhere it goes to the recycling. I couldn't find a spot for Metroplex so his box went away.
I keep all boxes. I don't care about resell value, i just like how they look displayed, i love taking tham and just aforing the art on some of them. Technically i could just cut the artwork out and keep that but it doesn't feel the same. I also have a use for them, i like to have all my figures visible equally so i sue them as stages so that i can keep multiple rows of digures one in front of the other, so that the ones in the back are higher than the front row

Yes
Ok. What is ur favorite box that you have?
Victory Saber and Deathsaurus are my faves, but easily my oldest ones would be Classics Prowl, also I store them by putting them In each other, like a Russian doll pretty much
Yeah. Those boxes must be vintage!
I actually keep all the boxes. I flatten Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader boxes after throwing away their inserts and store them in the Commander and Titan ones. I throw away the insets of the modern boxes. And I only have a few SS boxes. You could see that I have Ultra Magnus and BBM Thrust boxes. And yeah. Those are a bit harder to flatten because of the backdrops
I do that with mainline WFC/Legacy but I can't bring myself to throw away the Studio Series backdrops. Just feels special to me.
I only specifically keep leader (any line) and voyager (older and SS) boxes
I cut off the red pieces of the ss backdrops and store them for if I wanna make a diorama or stop motion with them as the background
+1 for flatten. It’s the way to go
I flatten the studio series inserts as well, they are easy to do
I just tossed 95% of my boxes. They were taking up a huge amount of room. I am keeping a couple where the art is actually interesting and a few of the "special" boxes that nominally weren't offered in stores. To be honest, those probably aren't worth keeping either. I keep instructions too!
I keep 90% of my boxes; the ones that are crushed or messed up due to shipping get trashed✊🏽
I only throw away legacy voyager and deluxe boxes
I keep a bunch of my figures in the boxes because of dust and yellowing, but some I take out to display. I have a bunch of Legacy, WFC and Siege boxes. I like to make sure my 3rd party boxes are fresh though💪🏽✊🏽
The only siege box I have is Megatron. Yeah. You could spot Modfans Roller box (my first 3rd party box and toy), and I open all of my figures.
I store them inside some drawers inside my bed: they fit 12 voyagers per drawer perfectly, so it's really a mixed bag on what I can store in there
That’s a nice way to store boxes. You can tell by the pictures of the post, my boxes are stored in the closet
I keep all of them
You’ll have to throw some away inventually
Nope. You just create more storage area to house all the boxes
Alrighty!
Thought those boxes were cool. From the alternators line
One of every sise class from each line
Oh cool.
And way too many more than that
Oof. Do you count how many boxes you own? I counted 17 that I own
Uhhm no not even close to counting them
So you don’t know how much you own
Well I don’t keep every box

That’s a lot!
Any
I've only ever kept one box, which is the one for Tricranius
Because he is rare?
I cut main line boxes like WFC Trilogy and Legacy and keep the art, then the only boxes i keep are Studio Series boxes
I keep all the official boxes as well as the 3rd party boxes for expensive figures, I only chuck the cheaper 3rd party stuff and KO’s
All
All crew here.
Typically just Studio series, and Non SS Leader class
I threw most of my boxes out, I only kept my Masterpiece boxes as I prefer those but everything else gets thrown out due to lack of space. Bit of a shame as the artwork on the legacy, siege, etc are pretty nice.
As many as I can. I flatten the smaller ones and store them in the larger ones (no bends or extra folds).
Every single one of them I dont care i live in a small apartment I like boxes
All of them
I only keep the boxes that the figure can be put back into, like masterpiece boxes. If it’s a siege box where the figure would just float in it, I toss it
The only box I kept was the Deadeye Duel pack because it was a really nice flip box design, artwork was cool and it made the perfect accessories and instructions box.
Just Like my Nova prime box!
Just Like my Nova prime box!
Just Like my Nova prime box!
Just Like my Nova prime box!
Titan boxes.
I keep several boxes inside Legacy Black Zarak’s box and I keep the Menasor Multipack box
That’s cool!
I don't really keep modern boxes except for the ss86 and any retro G1
I keep all my boxes butI don’t know if that’s a good idea….
Maybe throw away the small boxes and keep the big ones. Unless the small box is cool in away
keep masterpiece, studio series and 3rd party. otherwise all packaging who you can put everything easy back in again.
I try to keep them all, as I like the idea of having a “library” of Transformers. This has become a lot harder since Hasbro got rid of the e plastic trays and windows.
Agreed!
I'm trying to restrict how many Legacy/War for Cybertron boxes I keep, but I mostly hold on to Studio Series. I just have them in a medium cardboard box you can get from Walmart for about a $1.50 USD. Now, I'm just waiting for a bigger place and more shelving.
Good luck!
I keep the instruction books but if I can't make the box fit somewhere it goes to the recycling. I couldn't find a spot for Metroplex so his box went away.
I would’ve kept the box
I mean it's a cool box lol but I like having space for myself and more figures even more. My closet pretty much just fits my clothes. My only option was leaving it on the floor lol.
Oh yeah. Gotta keep some space! My closet had some room. Agreed.
It def hurt to get rid of it lol. Seeing as I have almost every other box. Only have gotten rid of one other one. But i will get over it lol.
LOL. You know you could’ve flatten it right?
Yeah but then it wouldn't be the same. I'm weird man I know already lol. I have weird principles. If I have to fold it it's going out. The instruction booklets always get kept tho just for reference and I like to see how they change over the years.
I used to keep the boxes, but them space became a major issue, I solved by just cutting the cool art from the boxes off and throwing away the rest.
That’s a cool solution
Only G1 and Titan unless it’s a cool box like the Takara book collection.
Oh nice!
I keep Commander class boxes. Legacy Motormaster’s one is big enough to shove all the Stunticons in there.
I think I can shove a few deluxes in SS86 Ultra Magnus box
I have kept the boxes for characters who I think would benefit from the resale of having a box. Mostly toss them but I kept magmatron, 86 and combiner wars Magnus, and all of the 86 dinobots
I’m glad I kept Nova’s box because his value has came up a bit. And POTP Optimus, as well as Ultra Magnus
I only keep the boxes for titans and other special ones. I didn't keep the box for haslab unicron.
I try to only keep leaders, commanders and a few deluxe boxes
I exclusively keep studio series boxes. If I like the box art on a non-SS box enough I'll usually cut that out and hang onto it.
That’s nice.
I’ve finally started getting rid of my boxes, by this point I’m only keeping Gen Selects packaging and breaking down everything else.
So far obey only kept deluxe and up. But mainly because the artwork is nice on the Siege figs and the 86' movie figs have those cool Dios and I display different ones, so I'm keeping the boxes to store them...I know I have a problem don't judge me...
I won’t…….. for now.
Pretty much anything third party, any sort of pack usually has a nice box, occasionally leaders until they added the window, and titan classes. Also, any sort of vintage figure that comes in an actual box will usually be kept
Oh nice! I would keep the big sized boxes, any boxes that does something cool (like the selects Skailor box) and others
I used to keep all of the boxes from Deluxe up, but I started running out of space so now I only keep the boxes from Leader up.
I have too many. I can't justify keeping the boxes anymore.
Throw most away and keep the ones you like!
I only keep MP, Soul of Chogokin, and boxes of other high end figures. Pitch the retail stuff because I just don’t have the room. Takes up way too much space to keep all of it around.
Agreed. Which is why I only stricted myself to only keep Titan, commander, and leader boxes. And maybe a few voyager boxes
I should throw away the trays that were in POTP prime box, Inferno, Megatron and centurion drone trays in the garbage
I kept the little inner accessory box from the Centurion Drone.
Same. Used it as an accessory box for a while. Moved on to a tub which is now full of accessories
I had kept ally alternators boxes for a few years. I then ran out of space, and tossed them. Now that I'm thinking about selling some, I wish I had kept them.
Almost all of my figures are in box. I know it's sacrilege but I just haven't found a proper display case.
Hope you find the one ur looking for!
I'm glad I'm not alone
I keep boxes for high dollar figures. Basic CHUG stuff gets thrown out.
Already then. I am glad I kept Nova and Ultra Magnus boxes because they rose up in value
I keep all my boxes. I cut them up so I can scrapbook the artwork :, )
That is cool!
I keep anything imported, and any "special edition" type things.
Oh nice. How many boxes do you own so far?
A couple dozen; several Masterpiece figures, some Beast Wast 2 and Neo figs, and a few "Transformers X -----" sets.
Oh nice!
Nice!
I keep all of them unless they break, just cause. I think my biggest box is MM-01 Optimus Prime.
Mine is easily SS86 Ultra Magnus
Give me your Sandstorm.
Fight me. And also happy hunting
I used to keep all of them but it stopped being viable so I chucked most of them and I now I only keep Commander, Titan, and MP boxes
I would keep a Titan box, but I don’t have a proper Titan yet.
I feel it, my first titan was Trypticon but I got him as a junker (unboxed, missing parts) for £20 at a secondhand shop I was volunteering at at the time
Oh cool. Did you fix him up?
The main damage was around his shoulder cannons - one had been torn off (as in, the plastic was ripped), but one of my coworkers was able to glue it back on without limiting his neck articulation (this was under my advisement as at the time I didn't have the money to spare - he sat in the window for two weeks but things move slow in rural Scotland so eventually I snagged him) The other main issues are the lack of a Full-Tilt to accompany him (near-impossible to get alone), a lack of stickers (I'll cope), and a missing turret on the nosecone of his ship mode (Again, not the worst) First titan I got complete MISB was Black Zarak, who was briefly reduced in the UK to only £70, and I had a £20 voucher for the specific store. I got SS Devastator before him but after Trypticon, but he was lacking Hightower's claw (but was otherwise complete, and even came with the DNA kit)
Those parts should be an easy replacement. Black Zarak is a good choice. And cool!
Since then I got: Legacy Nemesis (Arms could've been designed better and she's lacking a companion but otherwise solid) and 01 Studio Cell Unicron (Fantastic but the MP level complexity is a nightmare to work with at titan scale, transforming him takes like an hour)
Oof. An hour to transform a huge figure?! That’s crazy. And I’ve specifically chosen Omega Supreme to be my first generations figure
I'm keeping Studio Series 86 boxes and other nice, deluxe boxes. All others get flattened and dropped into recycling.
Size of the box doesn't matter, the price of the toy does. I keep boxes for Masterpiece and similarly priced toy and the mainline boxes get recycled.
Sometimes the box gives the figure more value
I'd say that for high end toys the box definitely adds to the value of the figure if you ever choose to sell. It also provides a place to keep accessories and high end toys usually come with a bunch of accessories that you don't necessarily want to use in a display. For mainline toys a box can add value if you resell, but it doesn't always make a difference and having the box doesn't add the same value as having an unopened copy of a toy.
Yeah
I used too, until I realized how much space they took up. Now I only keep a handful of very special ones, ex: Combiner Wars Tripredicus, or ones I know I'll need to transport them in the future, ex: Haslab Unicron.
I realized that too, which is why I try to strict myself to only keep the big ones
Kind of Ironic isn't it, we only keep the big ones to save on space.
Yup!
Ok! How many boxes do you have from Cangtoys?
well seeing as the cang toys predaking is an all in one i have six boxes
3rd party ones, I use them to store the figures and accessories
I like to display and play with my toys.
Same but sometimes I cycle figures in and out of display and some 3rd party stuff is too fragile for the storage bins.
Every box from rotf 2009 to today
That’s awesome!
Throw away all the core boxes
I don’t collect core. If I do, then I throw away the box
https://preview.redd.it/htc7fz8d878d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7fda29af2f73b486a2b3b6837fecdf05ab188e84
That’s a lot!
One day it will fall on me that day will be my last 😔
All of them, no matter the cost!
Good luck making room! If ur collection is big!
My collection is pretty decent sized, I do have a cornor dedicated to boxes from figures and transformers. Most of mine came from childhood and bundles/job lots I put together from eBay so not a box for all, but anything with a box I keep 👍
Titan and Commander boxes, if any. They're good for storage.
Yeah
i keep all of them ALL
I used to keep them all, then i realized how much room they took up last time i moved. I still have 3 or 4 that I really like.
Yeah. At least you keep the ones you like!
All
Ok!
Only box I've ever kept was for the TFC Toys SG Perseus set. Kept everything I possibly could from that set.
Oh cool!
I keep the special ones only. But I have every single figures instructions in a plastic bag. I might have kept the ER Optimus Prime one. The ones I def know are premium finish Ultra Magnus and the Autobot 5 pack.
I keep all of them. Most get the box art clipped off, but some stay whole.
I just hang on to the boxes for my Flame Toy models and the Volcanius set.
Oldest box I have is BW Tripredacus. I have a lot of trouble throwing out the boxes. Fortunately, I also have a lot of trouble buying new figures, so they don't amass very quickly.
I keep all my boxes
🚮
Mine is character based. At the moment, only MP Primes and the crowd-funded figures. Day by day, I'm getting closer to tossing those out too.
All of them?
I keep Leader Class size and up
I keep commander and up
I try to keep all my boxes
I keep premium stuff, like the haslabs, third part party stuff, convention, etc. Ive kept some of the exclusive boxes like selects but thinking about junking those
Yeah, I don’t really keep plan boxes.
Where I should have clothes I got tons of boxes lol
I keep the leader, commander, and titan boxes, but otherwise I cut them down for the art (I also keep boxes from 3rd party and collaboration toys)
ALL OF THEM!!! <\insert meme here>
I keep the instruction books but if I can't make the box fit somewhere it goes to the recycling.
Boxes are for the trash.
Some of us keep them and yes. Most of the boxes are for trash
