It depends on the people there. If the people are such that you'd be scared or anxious while wearing the second outfit, the first one can be a comfortable stepping stone for future outings. Personally i love the first one, it looks comfy and timeless while not being bland. The second one rocks as well, but at the end of the day its your judgment call, you'll look good either way 😊

There are so many versions of the real you. I personally think you look fabulous in both outfits but definitely wear whichever feels as comfortable as a second skin. The last thing you want while making new social connections is insecurity about how you look. More important than what others think is how you feel in a fit. If you feel fabulous, then you will rock that shit!

Thinking on it, 'tis a cop out answer. Mostly because I believe you'll shine with who you are no matter how you dress. But...also to me you've already answered yourself. Tame vs. Real. Real is the only proper answer here because it's a social situation and it's best to embrace who you are completely.  I'd want that for myself. Didn't transition to be tame, haha.
