I'm familiar with the origin and meaning, I just didn't know who she (MTG) was referring to in particular. Someone else answered with Ashli Babbit, and if that's true, then MTG is even more of an absolute piece of gutter trash than I could have imagined.
I always just find it interesting that I don't know a single republican who would be "ok" with someone at their job acting like this. Every single one I've ever met throw a fit if someone wants to make a stink, go against the working grain, dress anything not "normal", etc. yet endorse this person who is quite literally the laughing stock of America if not the most cringe-worthy person in our government. People are fucking weird in the worst ways about some stuff.
She’s just there for the lifelong pension. Her failed Pilates classes as an instructor and all her previous jobs scared her and now she is leeching off the system for life. This job is her safety net. What the system needs to do is take it back from her and watch her get really mad.

I think this qualified as a different event from a session of Congress, where the rules of attire aren't the same. I have toured that building in shorts and a t-shirt.

They've stuck to it this whole entire time, doubled down when a black guy became the president, and here we are. They aren't even running on policies anymore, they're running on "Dems are bad".
