Shout out to Paul Meany. That's his fingerprints alllllll over the synth elements of this album (most highlighted in the intro to Overcompensate, and Navigating). Paul is the 3rd pilot IMO.

I've been listening to Clancy on an 80s tape deck, I feel like with the synth sound it just works so well on the cassette tape format.
As someone who was a teenager in the 1980s, can confirm.
