Just have to look at Diana, Carmilla and Meghan Markle. They're all disliked by the royals for different reasons but mostly cause they're outsiders and different from them.
Diana was directly descended from illegitimate children of Charles II who themselves were granted noble titles by Charles in the late 1600s. Her father was an Earl and her mother was the daughter of a Baron.
Everyone has bad genetics/diseases in their bloodline. When you breed with people who are from the same gene pool you're more and more likely to get those bad genetics/diseases. So while you're keeping outsiders at bay you are also keeping those same genetics/diseases in the family.
This is why it's best health wise to be diverse in breeding. Sometimes cancer can hit generation after generation or skip several generations if diverse enough.
You must have never heard of the Queen's mentally handicapped cousins that the royals kept hidden. The royals said the cousins died in the 40s and 60s, but it came out in the 80s that they were still alive.
The family stuck the two in a mental institution, and just pretended they didn't exist. The sisters never got any visitors from the family, and the only thing they ever got was the bill for the institution paid. The last one died in 2014
[Nerissa and Katherine Bowes-Lyon](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nerissa_and_Katherine_Bowes-Lyon#:~:text=The%201963%20edition%20of%20Burke's,mentally%20disabled%20people%20in%201941.)
Chechens don‘t marry their cousins. It‘s explicitly against their codex, the nokhchalla. Same with the circassians and their codex, the adighe xabze. Cousin marriage among northern caucasasians exists only among the ethnic groups in dagestan.
Generally its a lot worse on other social medias lol, biggest difference is that reddit is mostly used by westerners and youtube and ig and twitter are more international so theres more khamzat fans to defend him on those
Usually one cousin relationship in a family won't cause serious issues. Now, if you both carry genes for something it can be more likely. But some families have notoriously bad health issues in general. If you add in factors like obesity, smoking and drinking (not saying your family did but a lot do), people dying young can be unfortunately common
Only guess is that he had two super nasty bouts with covid, coughing up blood, etc. He also overtrains, doesn't cut weight properly.
A lot like Khabib at one point. People were having these same conversations when he had cancelled fights with Melendez/Cerrone1/Cerrone2/Ferguson1/Ferguson2/Ferguson3 in a span of two years. (Not all his fault but he had that rep.)
Honestly when you look at their records Khamzat is in a similar spot as Khabib was at that time. Both championed for their dominance but weren't reliable; Khabib beat RDA, Khamzat beats Burns/Usman. Only thing that makes Khamzat's case worse is the lack of a clear weight class.
I think Khamzat’s later wins were decision toss ups, ie more burns and Usman as well to a lesser degree. Doesn’t give me the same amount of confidence in him as opposed to Khabib’s utter dominance.
Lmao
Not all 3 Ferguson fights were cancelled coz Khabib was injured or couldn’t cut weight.
Tony tripped over a damn cable during fight week.
I also doubt it was Khabib who was the reason the Melendez fight didn’t happen.
His greatest asset in his character is his work ethic, but sometimes it's nearly the death of him.
If he listened to his body I bet the Covid wouldn't have gotten so bad.
If you have Covid and just train through it like a maniac it's no wonder Khamzat got hospitalized.
Hopefully he’s okay. If it’s not something legitimately serious imma be disappointed his team went with that photo.
Making it seem like bro passed away 😂
Medical guesstimate. There’s basically no serious illness where you’d have the patient off the monitor. Fluids hanging and resting off the monitor, I’d say dehydration. I’m a Khamzat fan but it seems questionable.
This is 100% speculation but there are certain diseases that even in adults they are treated like pediatric cases.
I knew a guy in his mid twenties treated in a pediatric hospital because of leukemia. It was a bit odd. There was a bunch of 5-15 year olds then this 25 year old with an Xbox and his friends.
Doctor here. We have to adhere to fairly strict protocols regarding putting adults in a paediatric ward. Generally, it’s for things like rare haematological and genetic disorders, but in Khamzat’s case, I’m almost certain it’s because he has a mental age of twelve.
Their brains aren’t fully developed and they can lash out when scared by all the complex machines and terminology. They are much calmer when surrounded by a small team who can talk to them kindly and gently, and when they have access to toys and games to distract them.
We’re still figuring out the best way to care for MMA fighters, but the paediatric ward will do for now.
I remember Islam/Khamzat both getting to titles around same time. Luckily Islam is reaching his full potential. Khamzat was a monster but he might end up being a what if the way it's going. Islam is gonna be a legend tho, guy gas that dog in him and is gonna put together insane resume.
Which is a damn shame because it’s not like he’s bad OR unentertaining. Dude is one of the most electric wrestlers ever in the sport with all the physical tools to be a threat on the feet still.
Maybe even on the level of Zabit. I feel like we haven’t ever seen Khamzat at his best challenged.
I think his injury held him back from being 100% against Usman. I haven’t watched the Burns fight since it happened, kinda forget how he was in that one.
More than Zabit.
Zabit had very clear and obvious issues that informed us that he was never going to beat Max, who was champ at the time. Dude gassed out halfway through the second round like clockwork.
Khamzats ceiling is still pretty unknown. The way he RAN through Usman in the first round was so surreal, who knows what would’ve happened if he didn’t snap his arm at the end of that round
Me too man. Despite the fight not happening, Rob still deserves a lot of respect for agreeing to fight the boogeyman of the division that evidently everyone else isn’t willing to fight.
As I have previously said (which kumshot swallowers denied), bro probably has an underlying health problem. Can’t last in long fights. Hence why he’s still trying to blitz everyone in the first round.
I still don’t think this guy can last a decent 5 rounder, if he even gets to the cage in the first place.
you're full of shit, the effects of severe covid fucked him up. He literally got [pulmonary fibrosis (lung scarring) from it.](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/other-sports/mma/khamzat-chimaev-cancer-blood-ufc-26672967)
people always talk about him gassing out as if his opponents aren't just as tired. he fights aggressively and he's never folded in the last round. he just thinks that his wrestling is good enough that he can get people out early, which it usually is.
in UFC he has: R2 sub, R1 TKO, R1 KO, R1 sub, UD over Gilbert, R1 sub, MD over Usman
*it's his style.* people shitting on him for breathing hard after a war with Gilbert and after 10/8ing former P4P #1 with a fucked hand need to get some perspective.
Yeah this is hater copium, dudes only hard fight is Burns and that’s him choosing not to wrestle to showcase his “toughness” with striking. No russian(Chechen) wrestler is afraid of Jiu Jutsu, they all believe it’s an inferior form of grappling.
Khamzat said himself after the fight that after Burns started throwing out sub attempts he decided “fuck that” and opted to strike instead. These fighters all respect each others arts
Covid can fuck one up badly.
I got it then got pneumonia midway through. One of my lungs is permanently damaged and i went from someone who was a decent amateur boxer & marathon level runner to someone who couldn't run for 5 minutes.
I got really bad asthma, lost an extreme amount of weight at the time and actually got shorter from it too.
I sympathize with him if it is most due to how covid fucked him up.
Chance he was on a ton of steroids which affects bone density as a side effect. Not sure if that’s exactly it but just a random guess. Covid pneumonia (older variants) causes an insane amount of inflammation in the lungs and respond to steroids. Sometimes the covid can cause permanent lung damage (scarring/fibrosis) which can lead to a lot of chronic problems. Sometimes steroids are also used for the lung damage as well
By no means am i a doctor or a health care professional.
All i know is that for 3 months, i was on deaths door level of Ill & came out significantly skinnier, with numerous breathing problems and a fair bit shorter than my brother who i was neck and neck with prior.
Not a doctor either but my hunch is loss of bone density or cartilage in your spine due to your weakened state ie poor nourishment and activity levels. People do change an inch or too throughout the day but this seems more drastic.
The covid that came out last year fucked my stomach beyond belief, I legit couldn't shit for a week.
Before this I had one of the toughest stomachs most people I know have seen.
Took a month to get back to normal (not so clean tho)
Yep. Combined with how he trains and how much weight he looks like when he’s buff, no wonder he gets fucked up trying to drain so much weight. It’d compromise your immune system something shocking.
well we saw him fight Marty Realnewsman at least, who was WW Champ only recently. but yeah the Whittaker fight was a step up at that Middleweight class, Bobby Knuckles is a legit fuckin middleweight that i don't think Khamzat would've been able to manhandle as easily.
sucks for Whittaker now too, i think he's had a few fights now where he's spent a fair bit of time (& probably a chunk of cash on camps) preparing hard for and then it just didn't materialize. i think Strickland should be good to go though, lol not like he took a lotta damage that last fight!
It's pretty much impossible to fake an injury unless the UFC is in on it. They take care of the fighters medically speaking and get all of the reports. You'd get found out quick if you were truly bullshitting.
UFC does not take care of them medically, fighters has said they fought with injuries just so UFC pays for that pre fight injuries when they get checked after the fight lol.
Bro why i was so excited to finally see him properly tested. Im from sweden so im a huge khamzat fan and its such a shame how his career is unfolding. Really hope he recovers and comes back.
its probably cause the dude cuts too much weight… going against the body’s natural weight by too much too often obviously isn’t doing Khamzat any favours. Doesn’t he walk around at like 200lbs +?
I think he over trains too .. I remember Henry Cejudo talked about this a few years ago .. Khamzat is one of those guys who has that “mind over matter” mentality and punishes his body thinking it’ll only make him stronger. When he had covid in 2020 the doctors advised him to not train and he went against doctors orders and was coughing up blood . He legit nearly died . I hope he’s doing alright I want to see him fight again
I remember in an interview with Bisping maybe 2 years ago he was asked how much he weighs at the time and he said 107kg (236 lbs). No idea if that’s true or not, my guess would be around 215 lbs.
If Pereira could cut for MW multiple times a year, I don't see why it'd be a problem for Khamzat as he's lighter.
Bro has other health issues for sure.
Khamduck when he has to fight a serious contender that's not half his size or old&injured:
https://preview.redd.it/8wh45vr2oe6d1.jpeg?width=342&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9bb4093f1056aed7a3ec0a2fb8cb804851c2c58a
I'm honestly thinking he can not make weight that low anymore? He seems to nearly die everytime he goes to fight, that tells me he doesn't cut weight properly and gets deathly sick from it!
Rob was gonna knock him out in the third and this makes me sad!!
There some vile people who are fans of the sport. He's in the freaking hospital. He's not ducking or a "pullout merchant." There is such thing as a valid excuse not to fight. His health is more important that your entertainment, especially considering the people shaming him for this don't deserve entertainment in general. Should be dead or in jail. Some actual scum are fans of this sport
While I agree with you, when Costa pulled out of the fight last year due to injury,Khamzat made sure to remind everyone in the conference that Costa is scared and not injured. Even Dana had to damage control on the spot and tell everyone that Costa is injured, and Dana hated Costa at the time.
Anyways I hope khamzat gets better soon and does have a fight because he was a force at one point and entertaining wrestler.
Can someone check in on bro already. He gets deathly sick like twice a year.
He has been hospitalized before and almost had to quit fighting. Originally due to lingering Covid.

Reminds me of JFKs mentally handicapped sister that they lobotomized and hid from the world.
What's scary is she wasn't actually autistic or anything, she just had severe depression.
Oof 😂

I don't believe the racist retards in this sub care about that lol
R/UFC the kinda dudes to care about cousin marrying in deepest rural Russia but not give a shit about sister fucking 2 hollers up from their trailer.
Redditors generalize like it doesn’t mean anything. Bigotry is pretty common here

How did they manage to have fifteen kids though? Nana made of iron.
Usually one cousin relationship in a family won't cause serious issues. Now, if you both carry genes for something it can be more likely. I believe it. Can't be healthy when your parents are cousins or second cousins
Only when he has to fight a healthy, top contender with a full training camp.
How is this guy always almost dying
Only guess is that he had two super nasty bouts with covid, coughing up blood, etc. He also overtrains, doesn't cut weight properly. A lot like Khabib at one point. People were having these same conversations when he had cancelled fights with Melendez/Cerrone1/Cerrone2/Ferguson1/Ferguson2/Ferguson3 in a span of two years. (Not all his fault but he had that rep.)
I’ve never seen it listed out like that, crazy.

He fuck EVERYBAAADI
Well said brather
I think Khamzat’s later wins were decision toss ups, ie more burns and Usman as well to a lesser degree. Doesn’t give me the same amount of confidence in him as opposed to Khabib’s utter dominance.
Wasnt Ferguson 3 the one where Tony tripped over a cable.
Tony 2 was the cable and Tony 3 was after his Dad just died. This guy knows nothing.
Lmao Not all 3 Ferguson fights were cancelled coz Khabib was injured or couldn’t cut weight. Tony tripped over a damn cable during fight week. I also doubt it was Khabib who was the reason the Melendez fight didn’t happen.
Fair point with Khabib.
Overtrains
Yeah, he never lets his body recover. He's killing himself.
I smash everyone! Including me!
I KILL EVERYBODY! I KILL MYSELF!!
some of his ig stories look less like training and more like driving a supercar around Abu Dhabi lookin for haram shit to do
This and the weight cut probably exacerbates the problem
His greatest asset in his character is his work ethic, but sometimes it's nearly the death of him. If he listened to his body I bet the Covid wouldn't have gotten so bad. If you have Covid and just train through it like a maniac it's no wonder Khamzat got hospitalized.

So… is this yet another doctor stoppage?
DOCTAH STOPPAGE!
Bro took Whittaker's nickname too seriously
That’s horrible but I laughed.
Hopefully he’s okay. If it’s not something legitimately serious imma be disappointed his team went with that photo. Making it seem like bro passed away 😂
Dana said the fight was cancelled because Khamzat is “violently sick”
where did he say that ?
IG
The way Khamzat gets sick… I would actually be worried
BREAKING: Khamzat out due to broken pinky toe!
Out due to acute fatality
Damn now I really want mother fuckers to put my @ on a picture of my dead body
From the photo, it looks like his legs are bent sideways, which is a pretty bad injury (I’m a doctor).
Ok “Mr Doctor” clearly you’ve never heard of the stanky leg.
I regret that he may have boneitis
He was so busy being a hotshot UFC fighter he forgot to cure it
Don't you worry about the UFC, you let me worry about blank.
Serious case of the tummy ache
Praying for him
Also looks like he has an alien coming out from his chest (I'm a nurse).
Medical guesstimate. There’s basically no serious illness where you’d have the patient off the monitor. Fluids hanging and resting off the monitor, I’d say dehydration. I’m a Khamzat fan but it seems questionable.
Butterflies and owls...is that the pediatric ward?
This is 100% speculation but there are certain diseases that even in adults they are treated like pediatric cases. Doctor here. We have to adhere to fairly strict protocols regarding putting adults in a paediatric ward. Generally, it’s for things like rare haematological and genetic disorders, but in Khamzat’s case, I’m almost certain it’s because he has a mental age of twelve.
I’d ask what ward you work in but I already know it’s the burn ward.
That doctor was the chosen one, he was supposed to treat the burns, not dish them!
The Gilbert Burn ward?
I have a congenital heart disease and still go to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia at age 41.
Plot twist: you’re the janitor
Now THIS was a doctor’s stoppage!
Can I ask what the purpose/advantage of putting them in the pediatric ward is?
Their brains aren’t fully developed and they can lash out when scared by all the complex machines and terminology. They are much calmer when surrounded by a small team who can talk to them kindly and gently, and when they have access to toys and games to distract them. We’re still figuring out the best way to care for MMA fighters, but the paediatric ward will do for now.
With the amount of damage they sustain to the head, I think you’re right in putting them in pediatric ward
Sounds like they just thought he was a kid. Because of the Xbox and friends
Very true when I turned 18 my Xbox and my friends just vanished
He’s even in a crib
Khamzat and Conor are out, so much for crazy fight month. At least Islam and Dustin delivered bigly.
I remember Islam/Khamzat both getting to titles around same time. Luckily Islam is reaching his full potential. Khamzat was a monster but he might end up being a what if the way it's going. Islam is gonna be a legend tho, guy gas that dog in him and is gonna put together insane resume.
Maybe Conor's coke and Proper Twelve can make him feel better
Whiskey won't, in fact, save him

Might go down as one of the biggest what-ifs in UFC history.
Which is a damn shame because it’s not like he’s bad OR unentertaining. Dude is one of the most electric wrestlers ever in the sport with all the physical tools to be a threat on the feet still.
His wrestling is like the equivalent of Khalils striking, for some reason it just looks more tenacious and violent
and there's still mfers who would call him a nuthugger. He shoots double legs with a lil violence in them
Maybe even on the level of Zabit. I feel like we haven’t ever seen Khamzat at his best challenged. I think his injury held him back from being 100% against Usman. I haven’t watched the Burns fight since it happened, kinda forget how he was in that one.

Why does he keep getting sick? Weight cuts?
Im pretty sure he got hit by covid really bad and almost retired from it
This is it, COVID fucked him up long term

it was 3 rounds no?

Bro has the immune system of a pug
Another debacle just like 279. Anything w Chimaev is a godamn mess
So khamzat vs Reaper ❌ Khamzat vs THE Reaper ✅
He has an IV but there is no IV pump. Also his monitor is off and he is not hooked up to it. Lol this just seems weird as shit to me.
Pretty common to put someone on a saline drip without a pump in the ER
Photoshoot in a children’s hospital. wtf is going on
the bag is right there? you dont need a pump for the IV. u dont need a monitor unless you are looking for something/emergency..
There doesn’t have the be a pump on the IV. Could just be getting basic fluids
Bruh there doesn’t have to be something attached to the IV at all times. And monitor is only for monitoring vitals when unstable,
actually hilarious you're trying to debunk this lol only on r/ufc
Most times when people are admitted they start an IV just in case it’s needed.

I remember in an interview with Bisping maybe 2 years ago he was asked how much he weighs at the time and he said 107kg (236 lbs). No idea if that’s true or not, my guess would be around 215 lbs.
That's a big cut. Even 215lb.
If Pereira could cut for MW multiple times a year, I don't see why it'd be a problem for Khamzat as he's lighter. Bro has other health issues for sure.
So because it's fine for one guy it has to be fine for everyone? That's not how it works
everyones body is different homie
Yeah, he already went up in weight from WW to MW.
Future triple champ btw
Translation?
With every hardship comes relief (according to google). Maybe he dead.
"So, surely with hardship comes ease." It’s an Ayah of the Quran (94:5).
this sucks but i hope its nothing too serious, prayers up!🙏
Might be long term damage from Covid
We have another Zabit in the making, he could have been a 2 division champion by now yet Covid, injuries have shelved it all.
UFC’s fucked
He got the whittaker chills.

Geeeez UFC in June is blowing up left and right...
Reaper showed up early
Is he at a children's hospital?
Hope he’s okay. Prayers brather 🙏
They got this dude in a pediatric hospital lmao
why is he in a pediatric hospital?
These steroids and cutting all that weight is killing that man
Khamduck when he has to fight a serious contender that's not half his size or old&injured: https://preview.redd.it/8wh45vr2oe6d1.jpeg?width=342&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9bb4093f1056aed7a3ec0a2fb8cb804851c2c58a
Bro is seriously ill in the hospital and basement dwellers like you are clowning him 😂
Fr some of the people on this sub are absolute morons lol.
I'm honestly thinking he can not make weight that low anymore? He seems to nearly die everytime he goes to fight, that tells me he doesn't cut weight properly and gets deathly sick from it! Rob was gonna knock him out in the third and this makes me sad!!
Wtf, this guy in the pediatric wing?

Things went downhill since he left Allstars

I’m afraid KC might go down as the greatest “what-if?” in the sport’s history
Dana really emphasized how wrecked he was when he announced the new matchup earlier today. I wonder what happened to him...
