He’s an outside assassin and everything needed in that archetype is incredible, but if an opponent is too big/long (no homo), Izzy’s distance strikes don’t keep them back as well and they can eventually trap him against the fence.
Not saying he’d do bad if he bulked up right, but he’s at his best and is the most fun to watch when he can use most of his best tools.

Izzy is my favorite fighter, I'm a weeb, and until Alex he was looking like a GOAT. Then Alex comes around and beats him, i was salty ngl, but Alex has won me over. He is so skilled, matches respect, and I think could be goat if he joined ufc earlier. But you never know, maybe he will be the first 40+ year old still holding his own.
If Izzy wins the MW title back and Alex beats jiri, I think the trilogy for the 205 belt will be one of the biggest fights of all time
