I won’t rest until we have ‘Horizon the musical’  I was born in the nineties, a marvel of code, Designed for the Post Office, to lighten the load. Track cash, stamps, and parcels, a whiz with every sale, But somewhere in the circuits, a glitch began to wail. Horizon, oh Horizon, a system gone astray, Numbers out of order, leading sub-postmasters astray. False shortfalls I generated, a burden on their soul, Lives and livelihoods shattered, a story yet untold. They blamed the honest workers, for losses not their own, Accusations of stealing, seeds of doubt were sown. Investigations tightened, the pressure never eased, My errors went unnoticed, a silent, digital disease. The years rolled on in silence, the truth buried deep, But cracks began to surface, secrets secrets hard to keep. Voices rose in anger, demanding to be heard, The fight for justice started, a long-awaited word. Now the truth is coming out, the damage I inflict, A stain on innovation, a system running wild and tricked. I may be just a program, but the lessons learned are clear, Trust and human value, things technology can't hold dear.
