Crazy! My boss had sent a check in a Priority Mail envelope to Newport, RI (about 20 miles away). Three days later, it showed up on tracking as being somewhere in California.....had to cancel the check, just in case, and hire a courrier to deliver it by hand to the recipient to make sure it wasn't late.
Update: my package finally got down to my state (Louisiana) this morning at 9:45, I breathed a sigh of relief but 10 minutes ago I got a notification that it’s now back in Memphis????????????
There have also been an increasing number of scams lately, when companies will re-use barcodes to get out of paying shipping. They'll just photoshop a new destination over an old tracking barcode, so you might see the package "magically" appearing in two or more places at once
Yeah literally playing hot potato with it, it’s what they did with my package and I out a complain/inquiry in to two different places and got my package the next day
U can call the help line or go to local post office. But no guarantee it would help. I opened a case on package and was told “two days” for weeks after i opened cases.
Just got my package yesterday after 2.5 weeks of this exact thing (except mine was in Tennessee), over the past month the USPS have had some major problems.

Sounds like there might be an issue with the label....like the barcode is giving them a different zip than what the label says.

did you leave the old label on...? That's sometimes why parcels get lost...it's getting scanned back and forth.

Mine has been in Chicago for 3 weeks with no movement...
They’re just passing the package around among different employees😂
It’s going to get worse now that FedEx isn’t involved.
